I'd personally perm from Sandro, Dembele and Hudd for all games.
Simplistically Sandro and Dembele would be the away picks, and Hudd and Dembele the home games. For the tougher games I'd play all three with Dembele pushed on

Parker and Sandro together is far too negative for an aspirational team. Parker's passing is dreadful - it would mean both having to sit deep to try and get control of a game, and with neither having the druve ir passing to get others in to the gane, the forwards and wingers would be starved of service and have to get closer.
With those two in the side we'd have to play Bale at LB, a Dembele nominally at LM but coming inside and two CFs
It is good to post my first articles and get some consensus on what I believe are contentious issues.
For me we should nature the partnership of Hudd and Dembele. Dembele has strength running through the middle. Hudd is like a quarterback. With two wide men Hudd's passing will provide opportunities for Lennon and Bale. In tougher games I agree that Sandro is very important, but we tend to lose forward momentum when he plays and this can cause pressure. Sometimes, it is better to keep possession further up the pitch to keep the opposition occupied.
It is vital that we address the way we defend a lead because AVB has not got this right too often this season and Chelsea was another example. It is stupid to invite pressure when you are shaky at the back.
For this reason I am concerned about playing Sandro and Livermore together at present. Both need to play along side a more creative DM.
To put it simply, Dembele and Hudd are my first choice with Sandro or Parker in tough situations. Until we can stabilise the back we should not invite pressure. Once we sort out the back then maybe Dembele and Sandro with Livermore/Parker will be more productive in holding onto a lead in place of Hudd.
My initial impressions are that I trust AVB to sort out our attacking formation, however does anyone more qualified than me know about his previous teams defensive qualities?
I didn't think Dembele and Hudd impressed as a partnership in Greece the other week - they never got any synergy going. Dembele was too deep, Hudd didn't demand the ball enough, and they were treading on eachothers toes.
However, I think that can be excused as one is really still learning the position and the other has been out for the best part of 2yrs barring the odd game.
the perm as suggested above...
thou there is certainly room for them all in the squad...especially IF we can put some good cup runs together...and of course injuries and suspensions...
HRH
I also believe that it was very hot in Greece and the whole team let themselves down. This was not the best test of this partnership, but still as you say there is a concern. My judgements are based on Hudd getting back to his best and there are no guarantees he can do this. In the Chelsea game he looked very determined and did enough for me to back him. Also, I believe that many concerns people have about Hudd are equally applicable to Scholes but people accept the poor tackling and lack of pace because of his passing qualities.
wldnt say i accept it....he shld be looking to..and be able to improve these areas of his game...
i'm going back a bit now...but in a game against the g00ns...he CC semi-final i'm sure...
he had a 50/50 with fibreglass and cesc just ran thru him....fack me did i go mental....

DemPele,
I concur. Dembele has to play and he can take control of a game from DM, whereas the only other player we have who can do this is Parker. Hudd offers a different dimension, in that when we have control of a game he provides the creativity and the momentum to push on, since his passing game tires the opposition. We need to start to win some games comfortably. Keeping control of a game once we are in front is a must area for improvement.

We need Sandro & Parker as our DM's with us signing another quality AM to go with Dembele which leaves Huddle20stone in the cold unless he goes back to his original position of CB being a Beckenbauer type player a great passer without any real pace !!
Yeah, cos Parker is lightning aint he
HRH,
A lone striker on loan. What about kimosabe?
