Again, you just about beat 9 men on Sunday and were poor tonight, apart from taking your chances. How many Cceh saves?
We miss JT,so can we say if we had him,you would not have won,or scored 4 tonight?

We didn't HAVE to call on anyone. We were all over you anyway. It wasn't helped by our defence being shocking!

========================================

you were losing and we were creating far more than you

hence why you HAD to call on your 75m quid subs

If those kids are rubbish and weak for Man u,then why play them and is the future bleak?

So lucky you have RVP guys.

Bitter about what? We lost in a cup we rarely play a full strength side to an almost full strength Chelsea side. Got some experience for the young players, helped stewards stay conscious. Good night all round.

So money is the reason now that we won, haha... the excuses get even more desperate...

Chelsea don't have a big squad. We were always going to have to use a few first teamers. The same group were running rings around United's first team on sunday.

Chelsea fans classy as ever in victory.

More from Roberto Di Matteo: "It's not been the easiest few days we have had but we wanted to show tonight that Sunday's game was heavily influenced by the officials."

So against under 20 defenders, with a 93rd minute goal, thats your proof of ref influence? idiot.

Like United fans were when they beat a 9 man team with an offside goal in their SUPER victory on sunday. Hehe.

Shame they weren't "running rings" for the first 30 minutes.

Seriously? Your going to use that after how most of your fans were on the weekend?

Just to put this whole shambles into perspective.....Crystal Palace beat a similar strength United side last season at Old Trafford without conceding 4 in the process.

Chelsea fans getting giddy about beating our reserves.

And stop banging on about Clattenburg.....he was merely the supporting cast. David Luiz was the real mastermind behind the result.

We won the most important game and I believe we have by far the best squad in the premier league. I'm proud of our team and if RDM did say that then sour grapes, we would have won regardless on Sunday, his team will finish 3rd at best

I think you'll find most of our fans will admit that we were fortunate to win that game and that the officials made some terrible decisions.

11 against 11 Chelsea are just a better team. That's why we are top of the league, CL winners and can't lose to United when the refs are are legit.

The ref sending Torres off and allowing an off side goal does influence games, massively.

9 men v 11.Get real, and over your defeat and place below us in the league.

Keep chasing the champion's of Europe.

Congratulations in winning the top at the end of October trophy.

I think Chelsea might struggle when the end of the season comes around as their squad is very thin. They have a cracking first 11 but past that there isn't the same quality, and they have crâp strikers.

They should be up there though, I'm just not too sure their squad can cope with the amount of games.

And if they get knocked out of the CL they may have to play a lot of their first 11 in the EL as well.

Chelsea fans are living of winning the champions league anyone would thin they have never won it. They on the verge of going out at group stages has that happened before was last year a fluke

Classy in victory?

Yea,football fans go in for that,on here and at games.

Well played old bean, and all that.

Silly comment about classy fans,as we are all tribal and biased clowns at times.

didierorres, nobody is making excuses. We are saying we are proud of our boys for running you so close given the weakens lineup we put out

When I saw the teams I didn't expect to win as you started a much stronger team than us, and when Ramires, Hazard and Oscar came on we were going to find it hard but still played pretty well.

Congratulations on your win. But we can take a lot from this game and that is what the article is about.

oh ah

JT pen kick away from winning the cl v you............was that a fluke too?

Yes but this article is basically for us to take the positives from this game, and there are many Chelsea fans coming on here spouting rubbish.

Like I said, well done on your victory, but we gave you a very good game and this is why we aren't to angry about it.
