Talking of location, this was started by a cockney united fan posting on the City board to start a fight and his fellow rags were queing up to oblige, quality.

Why respond to that?

City fans drone on and on and on about our location, because that's all they can do.

United and City are FOOTBALL Clubs, so the subject is FOOTBALL, but as we're much better at it than them, they rarely want to talk about it.

And so our specific location, as they see it, is all they've got to attack us with.

Sad.
-----------

I would line to point out that only one is a football club...i.e. Manchester City FC the other...well you know the rest instead of FC it's LTD

Old Trafford is located within the Manchester Borough of Trafford.
--------------------------------------
Manchester is a City and does not have boroughs within it but since the cockney reds live 200 miles away I presume that explains their ignorance. .

Ha. Only a city fan could choose to be petty over boundaries, all the while ignoring the fact that city themsleves were formed outside of said boundaries. Listen, f0ckbag, it's where you're born, not where you live. If someone was born in Newton Heath, but moved elsewhere they'd still be a Mancunian. At the same time, if someone was born outside of the city of Manchester, and then moved into it when it suited them, that would not make them a Mancunian. And so it is with Manchester United and city. Manchester United could play their home games in the Aussie outback, and we'd still be Manchester's first and only club. At the same time, city could play their home games in the Arndale Centre and train in the town hall, it woudn't change the fact that they are not a Mancunian club, you only 'moved into Manchester' in 1923. All these years later and you cavemen still can't see that, for god's sake city actually had to ask our permission to move into our city. Thankfully for you, the good sports that we are we let your rabble in.
Still, as the song goes, "oh Man United, the only football team founded in Manchester."

Furthermore, United are in Trafford Park because of it's working-class Manchester roots. But then again you can't expect city fans to have any sense of history can you...

Sspx although your club may have a Manchester postcode, it dosen't pay its rates to Manchester City Council, MUFC pays it's rates to Trafford Borough Council, and therefore the club dosen't belong to Manchester.

I have a Manchester postcode but I belong to Rochdale. It's where you pay your rates to, that counts and not on your Postcode.

coment by Liverpool are rivals, just to inform you the infromation you say is totally wrong. When MUFC was formed as Newton Heath, it was then outside the boundaries of the then City of Manchester, while MCFC when formed as Ardwick it was within the boundaries of the then City of Manchester.

So back to school my friend, your information was totally wrong.

And remind me again what they were called whilst playing in Ardwick? Because it wasn't Manchester city. Not initaly anyway. Manchester United - Manchester's club. No arguements.

posted on 22/7/11

Sspx your facts are totally wrong Ardwick has always been part of Manchester. Another thing Gtr Manchester ceased about 15 yrs ago if not more. Sorry son but you need to brush up on your history of Manchester

posted on 22/7/11

arguing over sh.t like this. united and city are both manchester clubs. now shut up.

posted on 22/7/11

Sspx your comments are just what most Man City fans expect from a cockney who wouldn't have any idea of how to get to the thearte of dreamers if they fell over it.

posted on 22/7/11

what about the fact that United's second ground is a corner kick away from where the COM, sorry Eastlands, err Etihad is now. Bank Street, Clayton.
so basically your ground is in a red area. United were there first. Is that why you called it the United stadium, to maintain the red connection with the area ?

and Hyde Rd, if you are in whalley range, somewhere near the border with Trafford, (whalley hotel, Kings Rd ??) you must be nearer to OT than the COM.
