Picking up a few injuries too

I think he will be called upon quite a bit in the CL campaign.

Love Lamps but he doesn't work in this new side- and its sad to say but I think his time may be up.

Romans Bank Manager, thats it exactly. This team has moved on without him in all honesty. Sure he may come on and add a couple of goals here and there. Maybe even put in a couple performances reminiscent of the Lampard of old but he does not fit. Its easy to see and the "out with the odl in with the new" saying is most apparent when involving him.

Lampard has been a great player for our club and has had a great run but his time is probably up if he is willing to accept a squad player role at the club than he still has a few years at chelsea but he is no longer the untouchable he once was

If we are going to compete for trophies this season then i'll guarantee you there will be a period where Lampard plays a vital role for us............it may be for just a dozen or so games, but we won't win anything this season unless he chips in at some stage...

He's been a model pro MO - let's hope he still has the right attitude for this important role right now.

Questionable.

Questionable.

No it isn't

Questionable? Why? 148 consecutive outfield games, his absolute determination to make the most of his talent, his response to defeat in Moscow. All that and his record of converting crucial pens - that illustrates it for me.

I don't think you can question his professionalism, gives it all on the pitch and trains harder than any other player.

I suspect he manipulated his media contacts to help heap pressure on AVB, but i don't count that in the criteria for assessing him as a professional player.

I still don't buy into that!

It didn't really need any inside info to be able to tell that things weren't going well under AVB.

AVB himself was guilty of revealing too much to the press about his relationship with the players when he told the world he didn't care if the players bought into his project, great way to win them over!

The other thing about Lampard is that personally i don't think he is that naturally talented. Like Keegan did, I believe he worked his nuts off and made himself into a great player and that deserves immense respect in my book.

Again MO !

All I hope is he doesn't hang about when it's clear he is not first choice (Scholes Giggs)

LA will be his destination - unless Jose has him for a season
