Hopes for next season

It's looking much brighter but I still think we're a wee off from the top, our defense mainly. If we can continue great home form and keep players fit, who knows, but it will a dog fight for 4th for us with City and Arsenal.

City won't be in a dog fight for anything, they will finish at least 3rd, same with Chelsea.

4th will be out of Arsenal and Liverpool. Arsenal will finish 4th by a very large margin though.

OP i agree with most of your statement apart from joe cole. yes he has a huge wage bill but watching the pre-season games he looks a tad like his old self. rejuvenated and eager to play for liverpool. he deserves a shot. atleast till january.

i agree with the surprise signing aswell. heres hoping that its aguero.

You got next weeks lottery numbers aswell??

There's a difference between predicting the lottery and stating the obvious.

Yes I do.

1 - How many more PL titles Blackburn have compared to Pool

21 - How many years since Liverpool won the League

6 - Where Liverpool finished last season

7 - Where Liverpool finished the season before.

12 - The difference between Alexis Sanchez and Andy Carolls price

> 4 - Take your pick, as that will be the position where Liverpool finish in the league

Glad I could be of assistance

You talk of delusion but even you can see your squad is absolutely dire. Ok you won the league last year but that was because the rest of the league bottled it. And don't get me started on your champions league run either. The only decent teams you played were an ageing Chelsea team who were already on the beach and Barcelona who had you over the wembley pitch like Jodie Foster on a pinball table.

Are you sure bubbles? did you see Chelsea's performance yesterday they stank Malaysia out. Did Torres score? No. 1 goal =50million Thanks for Suarez BTW and the extra cash.......

ps one day Torres might score more goals for Chelsea than he has against them, but I don't know if it will be this season.

Spurs won every pre-season game with Bent scoring goals for fun in 08/09 and look how there season panned out.

United also had a poor pre-season last season and look how their season panned out.

If you are waxing yourself over pre-season game that are primarily for match fitness then so be it, it will be us laughing.

In case you'd forgotten we have actually won all of our pre-season games and not conceded a goal and Torres has scored

Cheers for giving us your best asset, shame you had to blow that money on average overrated players. At least that might help you usurp Spurs to get to the dizzy heights of 5th, you might get a nosebleed, I'm sure Liverpool aren't used to being so high up in the table these days.

When Suarez leaves and it all comes falling down for you lot, it will be back to the basement battles and 6 pointers with Blackpool and Co

8m on Bebe. Could have got him for a bottle of White Lightening and some change.

The bubbles are going to your head I'm afraid, all you have there is a sulky traitor with a gammy hammy. Most of the Chelsea fans were crying in their beer yesterday, and begging AVB to spend more of Romans money.

Are you going into the billions before you win the European Cup, or are we already there?

Why are you interesting in signing him? We'd value him at £5m which means you'll probably pay us £60m

@Bubbles - Soon to be Don_chelsea (U7929) -

You like to talk about 'delusional' quite regularly. If you think that Torres will ever repeat his Liverpool form at Chelsea then you need a good dose of reality. Even the most 'deluded' but right minded person can tell that he has no affinity whatsoever for Chelsea and regrets not going abroad.

While I am at it, if you seriously think that the current Chelsea squad is anything more than 'cannon fodder' for other European teams then you are greatly mistaken.

Drogba, Lampard, Anelka, Malouda and Terry were ONCE very, very good footballers. Now they are the 'thorn in the side' of a very, very average Chelsea squad.
