Independent is having a laugh
Your "I told you see" attitude bored me off to death, Batmanu.
Maybe my eyes are playing up but where exactly does Wenger actually say City offered Percy £300k a week?
the same place it says your manager nearly left last season.
You pay Rooney £300k a week, you must pay RVP the same.
Yaya earns 250k don't he?

rooney gets 160k as well + bonuses up to 250k
£220k I believe, worth every penny.
city pay the dinner ladies £200k a week dont they?
Rooney's image rights and sponsors are worth 100k
"It is unlikely to be for financial reasons, given the whopping wages City were prepared to pay. The Barclays Premier League champions offered £300,000 per week to move to the Etihad Stadium, according to The Independent.
Van Persie is unlikely to be earning quite as much as Old Trafford, although that is the figure that Wayne Rooney is rumoured to be paid by the club - although United have denied this."
It's not like United ever lie.
DTKF,
It isn't just me though. There is a pretty big divide on where we stand on RVP/Giroud&Podolski as you can see in this article and its comments.

Sorry start on page 1, as you can see Earl Brutus came in and ruined the thread at the end
Thudd Come and join the fun.
Batmanu, I have noticed there is quite a divide.
The fans that know about football think you haven't replaced him, the ones that don't do.
It's early days as to whether Giroud and Podolski will perform to level required to get you top 4. But with the premier league being so competitive this season, time may not be something you are able to afford.
Giroud seems average, Pod looks a better player
They don't have 30 league goals between them, that is for sure.
What about
