Funny I thought Arsenal had the most awarded, what with Fabregas/Nasri diving left right and centre...

more proof of a conspiracy against arsenal. we can probably all agree that with consistent refereeing we would be needing a new trophy cabinet now because the other one would be full

On the subject of penalties, has everyone seen this cheeky effort?

It doesn't matter what kind of evidence you present the idea that United are favoured is a myth so rooted in the psyche of the average fan that no reality can impose upon a such a comforting fantasy.

Terrible penalty; telegraphed the move, hardly any pace, way too near the 'keeper - in fact it was only the fact that the fool of a 'keeper just stood dumbfounded and watched it roll in that saved the blushes of the taker.

Still, he is paying the penalty now ! (see what I did there?)
He has been dropped, faces a lengthy ban and possibly worse, from his own FA, who were outraged at the "disrespectful" conduct.

He was also booked by the ref, though exactly what for, who knows - I know of no rule which prohibits his action.
