When did he have 2 bad ones?
I'm confused where this has come from, he's looked good since he came back?
He was non-existent against Braga on Wednesday night.. He can have a great game and then a bad game - he is very inconsistent...
Any great player can look uselss when played with useless people.
Rooney for England. Our whole team was useless against Braga and Anderson had to play with Giggs is CM.
This is knee jerk reaction to a bad game. Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez, Evra, Valencia were all useless in that game. Should we get rid?
I never said get rid.. And it's laughable that you call this a knee jerk reaction!!! He has been at the club since 2007, and over that time he has had more bad games than good.
Can you tell me honestly that any of your other mates would take them at their club?
Wouldn't say he was non existent, as a team we were off the boil. At least he was trying things
He was in midfield basically on his own. The blame lies with fergie on that one
He was sloppy in possession in the week but he was the only one passing forwards so I think he can be forgiven. After all, if our best passer of the ball can give away numerous sideways passes in the P, it shows it can happen to anybody.
He need to lose some timber, he is naturally a stocky guy and his power is one if his assets but he clearly has some excess fat to shred.
The thing is e has what no other Utd player has, Toure had it, Bale has it, Rooney used to have it, that drive to turn defence into attack in a split second and guide past players with ease.
I think easing him in is the beat thing for him. He still isn't match fit yet he is turning out good performances so if he stays fit and can play a game a week until Christmas, he should be in shape going into the busy season.
Well the whole team played bad but I think the defense were put under pressue because of a poor midfield and the forwards were not getting service because of the poor midfield.
The article is not about Wednesday's game, I was just pointing out he did not preform well after your comments.
I say he has had bad games, people say he hasn't. I give them an example, people make up excuses. I do this too, have done it for years with many players...
An Daredevil makes a great point, Anderson vs Arsenal was magnificent in his cameo role, why? Because he had players on his wavelength around him.

oh my good fecking god
lets sell nani, rooney, hernadez, welbeck, evra, valencia, as they were all sheite against braga
Anderson has been immense this season when he has played, and absolutely tore chelsea a new hole last week, s everyone saw what he is capable of when fit, and now this?
he has had an injury hit career so far, but now fergie is slowly bringing him back in.
RVP is a perfect example of an injury hit player who has gradually put those injuries behind him as they have been handled the right way.
i seriously wonder about some people.

Completly agree with the first part of this. I used to love to see his name on the team sheet, him and TC starting games.
However for a player who has been here this long, still not settled into the team, can not score goals at all - why do we have such faith in him.
I used to see glimpses in Obertan, and I convinced myself that he would turn good!! Watching him play the other week made me question how I judge players...
Another point, he does need to lose some weight.... You can put a little bit of that down to injury, but not a lot. Ronaldo was out for a few months with ankle surgery, he did not pile on the pounds... He tires after 60mins and I don't think there is an excuse for that!!!

Stop face palming yourself, you might do some damage.. Never did I say sell him. Never did I say we should sell any player who plays badly. Never did I say we should sell any of the other players you mentioned.... Why start writing that rubbish??
Agree he was class against Chelsea, up until they brought on their senior player and he died down a little bit. he looked lively against Arsenal when he came on but we stoped playing after they went to 10 men so not much to talk about. The last game he played he was poor!!! I only brought it up because Pride said he hadn't had a poor game...

Andersons injuries tend to be knee injuries, meaning he cant run as early as some other players coming back from injury, too much too soon would result in further damage.
as for his stamina, there is a couple of points.
1) it wont improve unless he is given game time
2) watch carrick and anderson next time they play. Carrick covers more ground, but in slow jogs, anderson is contstantly using burst of speed, therefore tiring before carrick.
no one has answered question yet .would your mates like him on their team. have to be honest not one of them rate him.
if anderson can stay fit, a lot of people are going to end up looking stupid, as potentially he can be as good as he wants to be.
for me, again when fit he is our best midfielder, and there arent many realistic midfield signings out there who i would swap a fit Ando for.

When he's been fit he's played very well and has had more good games than bad. No need to stretch the truth. He's been injured for al those season's he's been here so I do not undersand why people are criticising him for being injured. Are you suggesting he's injured himself. Nani has been here for the same period and has been relatively injury free, why aren't you on his back as he's very inconsistent too
Can you tell me honestly that any of your other mates would take them at their club?

I generally do not consider the opinions of my mates when I look at Utd's players. Their performances and results speak for themselves
People get labelled and when you've got poor pundits like jamie redknapp it sticks.
He has his players he likes and dislikes and won't judge on the actual performance.

I was not questioning his fittness, more his weight.. Just because you get injured doese not mean you can pile on the pounds... He has looked overweight since he signed.
Not saying he has to be lean, but I think he is overwieght and it affects his game. Rooney looks stocky too, but he doesn't tire like Anderson.
Seriously, would any Chelsea fans, Arsenal fans or Spurs fans out there rate him???

to be fair Redknapp was nearly j i z z i n g in his pants after Ando's performance against chelsea
Ando, as far as I can remember, has only had one bad game so far this season. He deserves to be playing ahead of Cleverley right now I think.

Disagree - I have always had the opinion that Anderson would in fact become world class. I have based that on some of the games I have seen him play where he was MOM. But I realised that I have been defending him for 5 years now and bar a handfull of special games, not much else to prove my point...
OK, let me rephrase it - does anyone out there think he is already at a high enough standard to be in the starting 11 for United or does he need to improve his game???
