ripped by your own fans I seem to remember.

Because some fans not only embrace but actively promote political ideologies not 'associated' with RFC.

Ultimately we're a football club...if you're really into it go to the meetings, first friday of the month...that way football is a sport and politics is kept apart.

"I expect his type of reply from a celtic fan or an Irish republican, but not such venom from someone who follows Rangers."

This sentence is directly against many sane peoples morality.

No! I'm just saying multiculturalism is here: Racism will lose.

Not ripping my fellow fan a new 'wan' but pointing out that us both wanting Rangers to win is the only assumption I make regarding fellow bears.....

There will be racism for at least the span of anyone ones life posting here. What is and will continue to change is the tolerance of it publicy.

I love the fact we live in a society where you here someone being racist and it actually shocks you.

I hate it....I definitely hate more white people than any other culture.

You can't castigate the section of society which favours low immigration/benefits etc die to political beliefs!

Liberalism is not the permission to be purely liberal mon frere.

Baader, did you read the comments from Dos last night?I was asking why people support Rangers and Dos went into a rant about British colonialism, the monarchy and what he called the, "fairy story"of the Ulster/Irish conflict and presumably the religous beliefs of people involved.
I did not initiate this line of debate in any way.To claim that the history of Ulster and Scotland, and the Ulster Scots in particular, has nothing to do with Rangers is to distort the truth.
I am not trying to force my views down your throat,or anyone's throat, but like Dos you have a stereotype in your head and jump to conclusions too quickly.

Neil
Even if it dissapoears tommorow in the open it willtake as you say perhaps generations forthe bitterness to stop festering in private. Having semi public training grounds such as the orange lodge willonly prolong such.

Eh....what do you know about my Loyalist/Unionist ties or beliefs? I imagine 'your views' are far less informed on the subject than some onthis site.

Like the Knights Of St Columba?

The OO isn't an anti-catholic organisation

I imagine you have almost no idea what goes on at these things...like actually KNOW (have witnessed/heard/read)

You could go to 50 OO meetings and never hear Catholics/other races not mentioned at all.

I also imagine if any lLOL| had any anti-catholic sentiment or racist agenda on the minutes of a meeting they would quickly cease to be an OrangeLodge

You know you know nothing on the subject

Scotscelt you're being prejudiced and xenophobic. take a look at yourself.

" Sectarianism will never go away while Protestant organisations exist"

basically what you're saying....maybe to some people tolerance is measured in grams not action.

Sorry folks, but how did this get into an article about racism?
My article last night and tonight is not about racism and did not refer to race.
Those trying to bring race into the debate, please explain yourselves.
