I don't think we'd be as defensively vulnerable if Coates and Skrtel were playing instead of Wisdom and Carra. I actually like 3-5-2, it means Enrique and Johnson can attack more freely and we can control the midfield while still having 2 up front.
I don't think a striker role suits Sterling though. And we badly need Lucas back.
We need to calm down a bit here. IMO we're playing the best team in the league. They're lethal going forward. We were doing ok til we went a goal down.

Chelsea are a good team these days, but I'm disappointed in our approach today. We need to get in their faces and press the ball. Hazard and Mata aren't tracking back , but with wing-backs they don't need to!
I think we look shocking. We don't even look threatening, Carragher is past it, and Enrique is woeful, i don't agree with this changing systems rubbish. Very dissapointed.
I'd take of Carra for Suso and switch back to 4-3-3
carra for suso, 4-3-3 pur gerrard on the right wing.
Looking at the goal, credit to Terry. Outdid Agger completely.

We're good because we have players who can dribble with the ball and split defences nowadays. Oscar Hazard and Mata do all of this. Combined with Ramires's bursting runs, we're good going forward. We're not good defensively though which is why we've sat back and retreated and gone compact whenever you've got the ball to stop the Suarez threat and its worked perfectly. He hasnt had a sniff all game.
