No doubt AVB's supporters (the Champ Managers players) will tell us it's all part of the project. Shocking substitutions as usual. Taking off our only goal threat for the entire match.
Agreed mouse. Thought Vert was average at worst

Ur mum can spell bcuz, shes d 1 hu taught me
Oh well, losing away to the multi billion pound league Champions isnt the worst thing ever ...And although I thought we played better as a team than we did against Wigan - losing because we cant defend and because we failed to ask questions of the City defence by way of the substitutions is disapointing
God i just can't wait for the likes of Dembele, Parker, Lloris, Ekkoto and Kaboul to all start
When we went 2-1 down, AVB looked like he was going to cry. No ideas, no respect. The players don't listen to him. The Project to take us back to pre-2005 continues.
I can see that AVB is trying to make us harder to beat, but his changes are baffling. Sometimes the best way to not get beat is to try and win. Pulling off Ade for Defoe when he should have pulled off Dempsey???
Don I thought you loved Brad
We lost to the champions in the last minute for fack sake, get a grip
I hate to admit but we were beaten by the better team. I thought city were really good today especially in the second half, its just a shame that silva was fit for this game

...and yet Dempsey will still start
2 strikers at city with thudd in the middle is askin for trouble. If he done that and we conceded lots then u would have all complained again
Are you saying Lloris would have bossed CM better than Hudd and Dempsey ??

AVB deserves criticism today. Naughton on the bench but decides to play Vert despite him being out of place at LB. A bizarre high-line strategy, sticking with Dempsey. Deserves more of the blame than the players.
However, Sandro, Ade & Walker played well I thought.
Im off to sulk, see ya lads
Kent - cheers for another excellent match thread mate

Ade up front alone was the right choice.
But with the current CM lineups, there is nothing doing.
Sad to say it, but I think the Hudd of old is not coming back.
Edin, you thought Walker played well? I thought he was poor.
