Why i been raving and ranting about him of last season and this aswell. If he get's dropped now against Westham i will be absolutely fuming with AVB. What a performance.

Same here Don, he gets two games on the trott and look at the difference, all this phasing him in should of lasted 2-3 games, not 15-16, anyways well played to him tonight.

full back killer, would really be an abysmal decision of AVB decided to go with Friedel sunday after that performance. I await and i will be so angry if he plays Friedel.

Don it's the tottenham way.. lol... Nah i have a feeling Lloris will now become our number 1 now, i will be livid if he gets dropped against wet shambles this weekend

BaLennon.........................Agree he is a great keeper, not so young though, he is nearly 26 & has 42 caps for France which makes him a very experienced keeper too.

He MUST play in the PL every week!!!!

He can't drop him after that performance. If he does he's a plonker

Of course, he will start against west ham and have an absolute 'mare now

He really makes the high line work, he made some excellent interceptions. Some poor kicking today but generally top class.

Just one thing guys, I forecast Lloris signing for us long before we actually flagged him up as a signing...............

Just heard from a friend that he thinks we are in negotiations with the agent of Hugo Lloris and Lyon............................................would be great news if it turns out to be true!

GG

Can you please forecast some more quality signings, a striker would be good start

If the reports are true about Friedal being wanted by Blackburn, i think Gomes should become our number 2. He has been out long enough, if he hasn't got some sort of confidence back by now he never will. He is clumsy but a super shot stopper, no one can deny that. I wouldn't have him as first choice but not a bad back up for Lloris.

Harry's.............................................................I was hoping we would have gone for Llorente or Huntelaar in the last window.

In the current climate I would take anyone with a decent goals to shots ration............................

Genius Greaves, he is young when you consider how goalies are playing to their 40's these days

Oh, even im now changing my tune, Lloris simply cannot be dropped now, especially after that class performance!

I changed my tune a couple of weeks ago, I now wake up to Rolling Stones "wild horses".
With that kind of performance, it would take more than that to drag Hugo out of the sticks.

Nomadic, I seriously can't see AVB dropping him now that he started against Arsenal and then Lazio. It just wouldn't make any sense to drop him, now we can build on him as he looked his most confident tonight. Dropping him wouldn't do his confidence any good!

His kicking was woeful tonight, other than that he was good

What the heck does it say to the team if Lloris now gets dropped? Play out of your skin and you'll be dropped? Play as if you're not even on the pitch (Dempsey) and you're the first name on the teamsheet. I'm sure Lloris will play against West Ham.

With all due respect, isn't this the exact reason why certain people didn't want Friedel to be dropped?

He was superb last night. Said yesterday he hasn't really impressed me so far in the games he has played, but he kept us in it last night. That's. Evonung a regular occurrence from our keepers now though which is a worry

He was excellent against Norwich, West Brom and Wigan. No clean sheet there, but Lloris could quite easily have been at fault for a goal when he left his near post wide open and the fella screwed it wide...not to take it away from Lloris he was otherwise superb

Hrh, i think you are mad if you still think friedel should start against westham now after that Lloris performance.

Why's that? Personally I'd rather not see his confidence knocked by the roughing up hell get from West Ham's big lads. Not yet anyhow

To even consider restoring Friedal as the number 1 because Lloris made an error in one of his games which led to a goal is just silly.

Guys, he is a keeper, they make mistakes, often due to the nature of there position this can result in a goal. But FFS this happens to Buffon, Casilias, Neuer and will continue to happen. The point is that these players including Lloris will win us games more often then not.

Please stop saying that Friedal is consistant and Lloris looks shaky. One player has played every game under the sun for god knows how long, the other has only just been given the opportunity to play two on the trott and already has started to show his class. Let Lloris have a season in goal, then you will see that there are good keepers and unbelievable keepers.
