a. if ronaldo really wanted to push for the move 100m would do it, plus the 250-300k a week wages we'd need to give him
b. dunno
It will never happen.
The only way he'd come back is on a free transfer and I can't see Madrid letting that happen. They'd offer him Silly money a week before letting him walk on a free. He's that valuable to them.
We need to move on. We had him here for 6-7 years and he was great. Time to find the next 'Ronaldo'.
How can you justify paying more than what we got? Losing money and not having him a few seasons makes no sense
Stretford, you say that but you already let Oberton go
100mill and he might reduce his wages because of saf
To bring Ronaldo back to Manchester United:
1. We'd need to spend money in changing Manchesters weather in to that of Spains
2. At least offer in the region of £100m
3. Tell Madrid they can keep all the image rights and still retain the percentage they receive from everything he does.
Real Madrid is a business to me personally, a hell of a good one at that. I read somewhere, they bought David Beckham for £25m, yet made at least £200m of his name. Imagine how much they made of Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm sure they managed to make his transfer fee back of just selling his shirts.
He has scored something like 161 goals in 157 games, so his value would now be about 120 million.
No chance, but if we did have the money I'm sure he would come back.
If Ronaldo was pushing the move, handed jn his transfer notice ect, I think he'd leave for the money that was paid for him. He is a few years older and £80m for a player wanting to leave is good business.
Ronaldo will run out his contract and then go tho the team murinhio is incharge of...
Hopefully man utd
Didn't he sign an 8 year contract or something stupid?
he left United because he wanted to play for Madrid
Real Madrid is a business to me personally,

Funny you should see it that was, as they're set up as a not-for-profit association where every penny is reinvested into the club. There are no shareholders to pay dividends to or share out the profits.
Doesn't mean people can't change their mind back? Sometimes when you leave something good you start to idiolise it in your head.
He won't go to Italy and don't see him leaving Madrid for Barca so IF he was to leave it would be back to England. As much as he loves and respects SAF, i dont think hes the romantic type that would only sign for United. I suppose it depends on who is in charge where and who could afford him. 1 thing is for sure, he'd demand mega wages, but as has been said before, commercially, the transfer & wages would pay for itself pretty much.
Id personally love to see him back. Complete one off capable of all sorts and curently the only rival to Messi for world player of the year.
He will never beat messi for the ballon d'or in the premier league, he probably wont ever anyway but he would have far less chance in england
He has won it once already whilst at United hasnt he?
I know what your saying though, he would have to have a truly exceptional season with United to top Messi.
Let just hope it happens one day.
They made up for his transfer fee within weeks just by selling shirts. Then you have his image rights and sponsorship attraction he brings. Madrid will never let go of Ronaldo.
Messi wasn't all that close to his peak in 08 though. How old was he, 19?
If he was pushing for the move then I think it would be less than people think. I really hope Mourinho leaves Madrid for United, swiftly followed by Cristiano and other top players, pulling their pants down completely. I would love that.
I really hope Mourinho leaves Madrid, I don't really care where he goes or who he takes with him. There are plenty of top players who a good manager could get playing attractive football. I honestly can't fathom what people find attractive in the way we've played under him.
If he gets to the last year or two of his contract (expires 2015) and tells them he wants out then not much even Real can do but sell him. If they renew his deal it will be subject to the 50% tax rate rather than 25% when he signed.
Maybe they will take £50m?
