There was an inherent flaw in WCW and in particular Eric Bischoff’s plan. They didn’t want to BEAT WWF, they wanted to destroy them.

This meant that many “dubious logic” deals were done to bring in big name talents, most notably the favoured nations clause that Hall and Nash had, coupled with creative control. That meant every time you hired a big contract or gave someone a payrise, if it was more than Nash and Hall..they got the same automatically and could choose NOT to put that new talent over.

The 2003 UEFA Cup Final was played on 21 May 2003 between Celtic of Scotland and Porto of Portugal. Porto won the match 3–2 in extra time thanks to a goal from Derlei. This was also the first game to use the silver goal rule, although it did not affect the outcome of the game as Porto scored in the second half of extra-time, thus meaning the game had to be played until the end of extra-time.

Prior to this game, no club from Scotland or Portugal had ever won the UEFA Cup.

South Asia faces its worst economic performance in 40 years because of the coronavirus, the World Bank has said.

Economies such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have reported relatively few virus cases but experts fear they could be the next hotspots.

The South Asia region is home to 1.8 billion people and some of the world’s most densely populated cities.

Chinese telecoms company Huawei has said that disrupting its involvement in the rollout of 5G would do Britain "a disservice".

In January, the UK government approved a limited role for Huawei in building the country's new data networks.

But in March, a backbench rebellion within the Conservative party signalled efforts to overturn the move.

In an open letter, the firm also said it was focused on keeping the UK connected during the Covid-19 crisis.

But the pandemic may increase pressure on the government to take a tougher line on the company.

On Sunday, the health secretary said the amount of available PPE - personal protective equipment - was increasing.

It came as deaths in UK hospitals rose to 11,329 - up by 717 since Sunday.
