Andrew Neil Webster (born 23 April 1982) is a Scottish retired professional footballer who played as a centre back.

He began his career with Arbroath in the Scottish Second Division before moving to Heart of Midlothian for £75,000 in 2001. In two separate spells, he played a total of 222 Scottish Premier League seasons for Hearts, amassing 272 appearances across all competitions. His first spell ended in a transfer saga in which he invoked updated FIFA transfer regulations to leave for Wigan Athletic, in a move which became known as the Webster ruling. He played only four Premier League matches for Wigan and returned to Scotland, spending three seasons troubled by injury at Rangers. He won the Scottish Cup in 2010 when on loan at Dundee United, and also won it two years later in his second spell at Hearts. After leaving Hearts for a second time in 2013, he spent two years with Coventry City before joining St Mirren in 2015.

The Joy of Text was a themed night of television programmes centred on text messaging, shown on BBC One. It was broadcast on 9 June 2001, and featured three TV programmes: The Joy of Text: Live, Text Maniacs and X Text. The first programme, The Joy of Text: Live, was a 40-minute entertainment variety show hosted by Ulrika Jonsson and Terry Alderton, featuring celebrity guests and text-related games. This was followed by Text Maniacs, a documentary looking at surprising examples of text messaging use. X Text, the final programme, looked at the seedier side of texting.

The Joy of Text received negative reviews from media commentators, who criticised the night for its poor script and lack of entertaining content. Fewer than 3 million viewers tuned into the series, far fewer than the BBC were hoping. Viewers sent in a record 500,000 text messages during the show, some of which were compiled to form a tie-in book, also titled The Joy of Text.

Valencia have appointed Javi Gracia as their new head coach on a two-year contract.

Gracia replaces Voro, who served as interim coach in the closing weeks of the LaLiga season after Albert Celades was sacked last month.

A run of one win in five matches following the campaign's June restart saw Celades dismissed, with sporting director Cesar Sanchez then also resigning.

Results only marginally improved under Voro - formerly Celades' assistant - as Valencia took seven points from their remaining six matches.

The club have therefore moved to instead appoint Gracia, who was last in work at Watford.

The 50-year-old, who also coached Osasuna and Rubin Kazan, led Watford to the 2018-19 FA Cup final but was sacked last September early in a campaign that concluded with the Hornets' relegation from the Premier League.

Newcastle United's proposed takeover by a Saudi Arabian-backed consortium has been delayed because of a lack of clarity over who would be in charge at the club, BBC Sport has learned.

Sixteen weeks after documents relating to a £300m takeover were registered with the Premier League, the deal is still being scrutinised under its owners' and directors' test.

But it is understood compliance requires greater certainty as to who would have ultimate responsibility at St James' Park.

The bid has been led by British financier Amanda Staveley, but Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth Public Investment Fund (PIF) is set to take an 80% stake.

PIF's chairman is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and it appears the Premier League's lawyers are struggling to establish the precise links between the consortium and the Saudi government.

If a clear penalty isn't given then there's always room for manouevre - we allow referees the freedom to make a call. In this case the ball crossed the line and the sensors - which were introduced to combat mistakes - didn't pick it up. Technology should be held to a higher standard than human beings in cases like this - I think Bournemouth have a moral case (if perhaps not a legal one) for saying that Hawkeye specifically has cost them a considerable amount of money.
