Proposals to salvage the wreck began almost immediately after the ship had sunk in 1912. However, these plans were scrapped and deemed impractical since divers would be unable to safely reach the depths of the shipwreck.

A full scale replica of the doomed Titanic has been left abandoned and rusting in a Chinese theme park for years.

The mammoth model ship cost a whopping £130million to create and is almost identical to the famous cruise liner.

Roger Bricoux, the Titanic's cello player, was just 21 years old when he perished during the ship's sinking.

But Bricoux wasn't officially declared dead until 2000, though all of the musicians died on April 15, 1912. The French army even called him a deserter when he failed to show up to serve in World War I.

The Association Française du Titanic (French Association of the Titanic) worked to clear his name and officially put Bricoux to rest, but it didn't succeed until 88 years after the Titanic sank.

Charles John Joughin (3 August 1878 – 9 December 1956) was a British-American chef, known as being the chief baker aboard the RMS Titanic. He survived the ship's sinking, and became notable for having survived in the frigid water for an exceptionally long time before being pulled onto the overturned Collapsible B lifeboat with virtually no ill effects.

According to his own testimony, Joughin kept paddling and treading water for about two hours. He also admitted to hardly feeling the cold, most likely thanks to the alcohol he had imbibed. When daylight broke, he spotted the upturned Collapsible B lifeboat, with Second Officer Charles Lightoller and around 30 men standing on the side of the boat. Joughin slowly swam towards it, but there was no room for him. A man, however, cook Isaac Maynard, recognized him and held his hand as the Chief Baker held onto the side of the boat, with his feet and legs still in the water. Another lifeboat then appeared and Joughin swam to it and was taken in, where he stayed until he boarded the RMS Carpathia that had come to their rescue. He was rescued from the sea with only swollen feet.

Obviously it’s because of its special effects and 3D experience but even that I felt was whatever. The story was average at best and honestly it was a completely forgettable experience. Titanic was a masterpiece and it’s a complete joke that the movie that overtook it was a cartoon of a movie like Avatar.
