Aberdeen cranked up the pressure on Hibernian head coach Nick Montgomery with a morale-sapping and emphatic victory at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership bottom six.
Montgomery was told by the Hibs board last month that results and performances must improve - but the hosts were easily swept aside as Aberdeen recorded a third straight win.
Stunning strikes from Leighton Clarkson and Dante Polvara had the Dons comfortably ahead the break before Bojan Miovski and 16-year-old debutant Fletcher Boyd completed a hammering.

Developers of an upcoming Marvel game have apologised after content creators were told they could not give it negative reviews.
Marvel Rivals faced criticism after some people playing a test version of the game were asked to sign a "non-disparagement" clause in a contract with the developers.
It said gamers agreed not to make any public statements that could be detrimental to the game's reputation, such as a negative review, "belittling" gameplay or making "disparaging or satirical comments".
Following the backlash, Marvel Rivals said it was sorry for the "confusion, suspicion, and frustration caused by these excessively restrictive terms".
"We would like to apologise for any unpleasant experiences or doubts caused by the miscommunication of these terms," it said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, external.
"We actively encourage creators to share their honest thoughts, suggestions, and criticisms as they play."
It added it is working with people who voiced concerns about the clause to revise the contract, and changing its terms to "be less restrictive and more creator-friendly".

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane will leave the club when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old joined from Real Madrid in July 2021 for an initial fee of about £34m and has made 93 appearances.
The former France international helped United win the Carabao Cup in 2023 when manager Erik ten Hag's side beat Newcastle United in the final.
"Everybody at United thanks Rapha for his service and wishes him well for the future," said a United statement., external
Varane won three La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies in his time at Real Madrid before joining United under then-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He won the World Cup with France in 2018 before retiring from international football in February 2023.
The centre-back has been out injured since a 4-3 defeat by Chelsea on 4 April and it remains to be seen if he will be fit for United's final three games of the season.
They play Newcastle United at home on Wednesday before their final league game of the campaign away at Brighton on Sunday.
Ten Hag's side, who are eighth in the Premier League, will then face Manchester City in the the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, 25 May.
"Despite the fact we have had a difficult season, I am very positive for the future," said Varane.
"The new owners are coming with a clear plan and a great strategy.
"I will see you at Old Trafford to say goodbye in the last home game this season. And it's going to be a very emotional day for me, for sure."
Nick Montgomery has been "relieved of his duties as head coach", Hibernian have announced.
The 42-year-old Leeds-born former Scotland Under-21 midfielder had only been in charge since September and his exit leaves Hibs seeking their sixth permanent team boss in just over four years.
His side had missed out on a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership and slipped to ninth after Saturday's 4-0 home defeat by Aberdeen.
Some fans staged a sit-down protest following the match at Easter Road, but Montgomery pleaded for patience, pointing out that the club's owners knew that he needed an overhaul of his squad this summer.
But, in a club statement, the Gordon family said: “As a board, this was not a decision we made lightly but felt it a necessary one to move the team forward.
"Although Nick and his coaching team worked tirelessly, their efforts didn’t deliver the results we had hoped for."
Assistant head coach Sergio Raimundo and goalkeeping coach Miguel Miranda have also left Hibs with immediate effect.
Former captain David Gray steps in for a fourth spell as caretaker manager for the remaining two games of the season, with Motherwell visiting on Wednesday and a visit to bottom side Livingston on Sunday.
Hibs say they will be making "no further comment" at this time.
Montgomery spent most of his playing career with Sheffield United before moving to Australia with Central Coast Mariners and Wollongong Wolves.
Having guided Mariners to the A-League championship in 2023 after his move into management, he was appointed to succeed Lee Johnson as Hibs boss.
However, after Montgomery's side failed to secure a top-six finish, Hibs put out a statement saying results and performances had to improve before a planned summer review.
The Leith club have decided not to wait until then after Saturday's result left Montgomery with a record of 12 wins, 12 draws and what proved to be an unlucky 13th defeat.

Her portrayal of the granny who gained superpowers after being struck by a magic ray won her legions of young fans in the ITV series, which ran from 1985 through to 1987.
Her death was confirmed by her niece Kate McNeill.
As well as Super Gran, Mrs Ure appeared in a number of stage productions, radio plays and other TV shows, including starring opposite Orson Welles in a 1951 stage version of Hamlet's Othello directed by the Hollywood star.
Her niece remembered her as a "really kind" person who was happy to be recognised for her most famous role.

She was the oldest of three children, and had outlived her two brothers.
Although she enjoyed a lengthy career, her most famous role came aged 59, when she took on the part of Super Gran.

Mexican villagers killed amid cartel battle
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnl4l1xljrko
At least 11 people have been killed amid clashes between rival cartels in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas.
Reports by local media say that two nuns and a teenager are among those killed.
The area is fought over by the Sinaloa cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
But residents said the victims were locals who were "massacred" by cartel members.
Residents reported hearing intense gunfire on Monday night.
Police and soldiers confirmed on Tuesday that they had found 11 bodies in the village of Nuevo Morelia and its surrounding area.
The diocese of San Cristóbal, of which Nueva Morelia forms part of, confirmed that two women "who served the Catholic Church" were among those killed.
A 15-year-old boy has also been confirmed as one of the victims.
However, it was not clear if the two were lay members of the Church or nuns, as some local media reported.
Locals said there had been fighting between the rival cartels since Friday.
The Sinaloa cartel and the CJNG have been fighting for control of the area for several years.
The criminal groups extort migrants who cross the southern state on their way north to Mexico's border with the United States.
Communities in the region have been hard hit by the violence, sometimes having to hide in their homes for days as shots ring out outside.
In January, hundreds fled their homes in Chicomuselo, the area where Nuevo Morelia is located, to escape the violence.
Confrontations between the two cartels flared up again at the end of last week when members of the criminal organisations set abandoned homes alight in Nuevo Morelia and surrounding villages.
A resident told Spanish international news agency Efe that some of the villages had no power after gang members had damaged the electricity poles.
Police and forensic experts have been deployed to the area but locals claim they have been left largely unprotected.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot in a small town north-east of Bratislava.
On Wednesday evening Defence Minister Robert Kalinak said Mr Fico had been in surgery for over three hours and that the situation was "bad".
Slovak politicians including the president have called the shooting an "attack on democracy".
The alleged assailant was detained at the scene but has not yet been formally identified by the authorities.
Earlier on Wednesday evening Defence Minister Robert Kalinak said Mr Fico had been in surgery for over three hours and that the situation was "bad".
The attack happened at about 14:30 (12:30 GMT) in Handlova, about 180km (112 miles) from the capital Bratislava, as Mr Fico greeted people in front of a cultural community centre where a government meeting had been held.
Footage showed a man raising a gun and firing five times at the prime minister before being subdued by bodyguards while other members of Mr Fico's security detail took the prime minister into his car.
He was airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital before being flown to another hospital in Banska Bystrica, east of Handlova.
Later on Wednesday Slovakia's Deputy Prime Minister Tomas Taraba told the BBC that he believed Mr Fico's procedure in hospital had gone well.
"I guess in the end he will survive," Mr Taraba said, adding: "He's not in a life threatening situation at this moment."
Social media influencers with a combined Instagram following of 4.5 million people have been charged in relation to promotions of unauthorised investments.
The City watchdog, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has charged them over allegations they were paid to promote the scheme.
Those accused include Lauren Goodger, who rose to fame on reality show The Only Way is Essex, and Biggs Chris who appeared on Love Island.
The FCA had previously warned it would crack down on so-called "finfluencers" if it considered posts were misleading.
The FCA has alleged that Emmanuel Nwanze, aged 30, and Holly Thompson, 33, ran an Instagram account under the handle @holly_fxtrends. The watchdog said it gave advice on buying and selling investments called contracts for difference, but without the required authorisation from the regulator to do so.
The FCA said that contracts for difference (CFDs) were high-risk investments used to bet on the price of an asset, in this case foreign currencies.
It said 80% of customers lost money when investing in CFDs because of the risks.
Mr Nwanze allegedly ran the foreign exchange trading scheme and issued unauthorised financial promotions.
The watchdog claims that he paid social media influencers to promote @holly_fxtrends to their Instagram followers.
Love Island’s Jamie Clayton, Rebecca Gormley and Eva Zapico, Towie’s Yazmin Oukhellou, and Geordie Shore’s Scott Timlin were also among those charged.
Mr Nwanze, Ms Thompson and the influencers they paid have been charged with unauthorised communications of financial promotions.
Mr Nwanze also faces one count of breaching a so-called general prohibition under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, which prohibits people from carrying out regulated activities in the UK unless they are authorised to do so.
If convicted, they could face up to two years imprisonment.
They will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court on 13 June.
