The last game of the quarter-final saw Dog and Tyke face each other. What started off with Tyke edging it soon saw Dog score from a set-piece; however Tyke was in the lead by the whistle for half-time with a well taken goal and a complete fluke. Tyke remained in control in the second-half till a player was sent off for a second bookable offence, with Dog now piling on the pressure, Tyke gifted him the equalizer and Dog unlucky not to win it in normal time. With golden goal rule now in place, Tyke took control again and a fortunate re-bound saw him progress, good effort Dog!
The first semi-final was a much anticipated match between favourite Voom and champion SpursBoy and it looked like SpursBoy had put the pretender out of it when he went 1 – 0 up, Voom however struck back and took it extra-time. Now SpursBoy never loses in extra-time, does he? This time he does, Voom scored to win the tie and reach his first final in only two attempts, SpursBoy’s run is over and what run it was, take a bow son! He’ll be back…
Second semi-final with overachieving Tyke taking on Kent yet again, what started off even soon went in Kent’s favour when gifted not one, but two re-bounded goals, to take control of the game by half-time, a rain lashed pitch, resulting in stifled football saw Kent ease to a 4 – 1 victory and another final. Commiserations to Tyke and his great effort.
So making his fourth final appearance was KentSpur, having unenviable record of losing the lot and Voom with Barcelona was perhaps his hardest yet! Started off well enough though going 1 – 0 up and despite some strong defending, could not keep Voom out and this final was going to golden goal. Voom secured victory with an Alex Song header and his first title, well done Voom. You have joined an elite group and ended SpursBoy’s title run.

4 times runner up. its only a matter of time tbh
Another tournament final flop for Kent.
Who conceded the least goals?
Kent's real-life name is Michael Ballack.
Even id have won this tournament with barca how could you possibly fail.
Nice review, thought I had made it to the quarter finals until I saw the results. Oscar losing 5-1
Anyway hope I get an easier group next tournament and I need to learn to score more goals
Another fantastic tournament Tyke keep it up, looking forward to the next one.
Come discuss the next tournament Terry when you got time:
