Any back line with Evans in is going to be seen as a difficult one to get through in my opinion. He's been absolutely immense this season and most of last, and has completely made up for the loss of Vidic. Doubt many on here would agree though, them being lousy non-united fans an' all

evans-----howedes

i despise the player, but evans has been good for the past 18 months and deserves to be ahead of rio

Need some ideas with the FA cup.

We have 12 teams so eventually we will end up with a round where there are 3 teams left in the competition. Don't know how to combat this at the moment.

One possible alternative is constructing two teams full of players that have been released/not signed yet.

Would actually have to be 4 teams...

12 teams... 6 games.... 6 go through...

Then either randomly pick 2 teams to be re-entered into the next round. Or do 2 best losers or something.

Then you're back to 8, then 4, then 2!

Hmm yeah that's a more feasible shout! Maybe bottom 2 teams in the league after the first round re-enter?

4 groups of 3 clubs. Each plays the other two once on neutral ground (or home & away but may be too many matches). Winner of each group in SF.

Yeah that's also an option.

Wilshere

Reasons are always useful when predicting since it gives managers

a chance to see how other managers rate their sides, strengths, weaknesses etc. From that managers can plan improvements.

You also get more wonga as well.

Need some advice and people's thought on who you would rate the following as CBs.

Vertonghen
Subotic
Albiol
Carvalho

?

If anyone saw the Arsenal vs Liverpool game yesterday, you can clearly see how poor the Arsenal defence are.
Sagna, for me, is the worst RB in the PL
Gibbs, can't defend and takes bad positional choices
Mertesacker, useless
Vermaelen, lost it completely this season.
Santos - lets not even go there.

Positive note...Giroud looks quality

mertresacker for hendos goal for me was a much worse culprit than santos, even though its him that seems to be taking the brunt of the blame but on a positive note, your midfield looks better with ramsey in than arteta, and wilshere will be a 40million player when he leaves in a few years

Not a big fan of Ramsey at the minute either.
We need Arteta back.
Wilshere is our future but pity he will leave no matter how much he loves the club.

Attacking wise, Arsenal look lethal but with no DMs and a defence which is as strong as Mr Muscle....we will always concede.

Hoping that we try and get Fellaini by tonight

i think arteta will find it hard to get back in

personally i think our midfield looks better without him
