I hear they are having a birthday party on Saturday. I think I'll send a card.

6 MONTHS OLD TODAY

has this been confirmed ?

Its really all the sfa can do to be honest ...what would stop rangers saying o.k ...we will take 1 ticket for our allocation ...and then send it back unsold . In principle its the same as a sh1tty number of away fans turning up for the games which does happen .

Scotsman says there's nothing that can be done about it as it would take a change of the rules at the AGM to deny Rangers the money.

Rules are rules and we're obviously bound by them but it is disappointing. I'm sure even the SFA have sympathy in this situation.

The SFA meet today to discuss it apparently, but according to the paper it requires a change in the competition rules that can only be done at the AGM.

Hopefully we'll get a statement from the SFA today and then we can see where we are and move forward from there.

I wonder if they would have refused to take any tickets if they had been drawn against celtic, i think not!!!!!

Somebody raised an interesting point to me last night.

In Chico's message, he specifically mentioned that not all clubs were on his hitlist and he specifically mentioned that Motherwell were warmly welcomed to Ibrox (despite the fact Motherwell voted against them).

However, by naming Motherwell specifically it's drawn attention to the fact that he chose not to mention ICT at the same time. ICT have played at Ibrox this season so why were they not warmly welcomed? Are they on the list too?

Or has Chico wiped out that memory after the Caley Jags pumped them in their own midden?

I thought the omission of ICT was worth mentioning and I'm sure the people up north have taken note of that too.

If Rangers turn up, they are due the cash.

It's still a free country - you can't force anyone to watch a Dundee United game.

This tube green is obviously nothing more than a clown who is intent on creating trouble between clubs, this type of behaviour must be dealt with by the authorities. As far as i am concerned he has single handidly brought the game into disrepute with his recent statements and will cause trouble between fans before, during and after games, I am sure he will accept no responsibilty when fans are lined up in A&E and the police cells when trouble happens at games involving his club due to the bad feeling he has created, the man is a a total idiot.

You can. My Dad did until I was about 9 and finally came round to his point of view.

I've no problem with a boycott at all - it's the supporters right to not go.

However, what I take issue with is the way in which Mr Green has gone about this. He's made it clear that it's personal with United and not at all about the decision made in the summer and he's gone about stoking the flames as it were. He's also taken away personal choice for Rangers supporters which I think is wrong and is not his place to do so.

I genuinely believe we should sell directly to Rangers fans ourselves as they deserve to have the opportunity to decide if they want to go to the game. As was stated by the supporters groups yesterday, the fans of Rangers are welcome at our ground.

However, since Mr Green wants to be petty, then I wouldn't be against responding in kind. If Mr Green or any of the board of Rangers wishes to attend the match, he can pay for a ticket.

And I'd also make sure the heating and hot water was off in the away dressing room that day.

Green listened to the fans...isn't that what it's all about these days?

Charlie chuckles and his panto board of directors should be refused entry to Tannadice, we dont need scuum like him and his band of petty idiots here.

ath, as I said mate you're welcome to boycott - it's your right to do so.

I'm not sure it needed him to stick his oar in to be effective, and it certainly didn't need the tone, the inference and the pure hypocrisy of what he said.

Ivan, one's as bad as the other now imho.

Sooner the game's over with the better for me.

Hopefully back to normal football rivalry and nothing else.

I'd much rather this game was due to be played in the next couple of weeks than in 2 months time.

We aint going

Ive not even heard from a fan who wants to go.

Green did the sensible thing whether you like the tone or not. It is personal

How would it have gone if the club had not listened to the fans, taken the tickets and sold 200?

As it stands Utd can now sell all the tickets and as Rangers only get 40% then you make more from the match they will also save on security.

Rangers should also give whatever money we get from Utd to charity.
