Well if u have to rely on joe cole and shelvey to save us what u expect. Why is suso not playing instad of that waste of space cole i will never know. Sterling also needs to rais his game a bit. Is da contract talk affecting him

Suso or Henderson are better options than Cole.

Really don't see why people are complaining at the decision. Hands at head height is an unnatural position. That makes it a penalty.

----------------------

I disagree with this, go and jump.. bet you dont keep your hands by your side, and get someone to thow something at your head when your not expecting it, bet you try to protect your head.. its human nature and its why the species has survived so bloody long

West ham play a type of football that causes everyone problems, Suarez got himself that booking last week that means he's suspended now, thats no one else's fault

It's Suarez's fault.

The ball was a foot away from his head though, ergo, his hands were also to the side of his head. Everton finished 2-1.

Same Story as last week with Chelsea. They missed chances vs this side. Gonna be made to pay

Insert random username (U10647),

I could accept that if his hands were covering his head. They weren't, they were spread fairly wide to the side. That isn't a natural position.

Fair enough about the mid table finish

But theres no way I'm going to happy about it

as i said..

go jump, you move your arms up.

And if you think your head is going to be hit you move them across to potect yourself.

Its about balance, we use our arms to balance, whether you agree or not its physics, arms are a counterbalance, look at the position he is in. and its 1 yard away.

it was a ridiculous descision

Skrtel and agger are disappointing me.

They've failed to cope with the big boot

We need to speed up ala first 10 mins, WHU are lobbing over our midfield, we need to keep our defenders in position, not attacking.

His hand is actually chest height, not head height, it was a natural hand position for his body position. Don't know where else the hand can be. The ball is a yard away and it as smashed at home. Wasn't a penalty.

Plus... The rule is called 'DELIBERATE' handball

Honestly, don't know how we change this, bench doesn't offer much.

I'd bring Henderson on for Sterling though

We need steel. Gerrard doesn't have it anymore.

Sterling needs to move up top with Gerrard behind him.

I'm not sure how you can say he was protecting his face with the hand that was outstretched, away from his face. Like I've said, I thought it was harsh, but he gave the ref a decision to make. I can see why it was given.

Not expecting it? He was charging down a shot he knew was coming?

Go and try to do a backflip on the balance beam. Can't do it? It's because humans have evolved not to try backflips on extremely narrow ledges.

Hang on though, if gymnasts can learn do it, does that mean footballers can learn to fight their instinct to cover their faces when they're closing down shots? Yes of course it does.

When i jump i might bring my hands up towards my face but i don't have them spread out a good foot or two away from my body. His hands were nowhere near his face.

Suso should ave been subbed on for enrique, we were passing it about so well before the sub..

Sterling seems to have lost a bit of confidence to me. Doesn't look to take his man on and use his pace, seems to look to pass backwards a bit much.

posted on 9/12/12

He wasn't protecting anything as he didn't even know the ball was moving before it hit him. It was never a penalty, a yard away and the ball near took his arm off.

Terribly disappointing that

ham offered nothing but the big boot. Team of championship players and our top players haven't been disciplined enough to cope.

We have the players to oass these out of the game.

It doesn't help when your keeper boots his kicks to the opposing keeper
