The more bodies into the box is down to Lucas being back. Nothing to do with Suarez not playing.
---
True, he need to learn a lot yet.
Right off for me tea. Well done redmen & thanks FBK. Great thread as always.
terminator - i disagree mate.
will see what happens when suarez is back
We've Villa, Stoke, QPR and Fulham in December from what I can remember.

But Suarez played last game and we had players piling into the area....
Not a bad run of games. Should be able to get between 7-10 points from those. Good stuff.
Lucas being back certainly allows our midfield to be more adventurous, however with Suarez not playing, players are able to get beyond the 'false 9' as he is not turning and dribbling every time. Although he was unfortunate with a dribble he actually did do and didn't get the penalty for. Poor officials all day again.
Allen was superb today, in an attacking sense IMO. Henderson was brilliant when he cam on too. Shelvey and Cole were decent, Glen's goal was pure brilliance, great performance in the second half, but the changing point for me was Diame going off, so influential for the Hammers
thanks once again for the match thread FBK
And it was Lucas's first game back
The crucial moment was when Diame came off.
Wide players are now understanding that they need to get in the box when the ball is in the opposite flank.
Lucas being back let's CM's press higher and get forward more.
The system is now bedded in as the players adapt. Players in the box has little or nothing to do with Suarez being out.
what was crucial was us capitalising on diame going off, west ham didn't lose it on purpose.
we got lucky with him going off, but take it, as we haven't exactly had a lot of luck all season.
about time we had a bit of luck in our favour.
7 mins fergie time though!!
Imo i thought allen was poor again and nit re the pen just his overall play
Number 21, I will even say Hendo did well when he came on.
Cheers everyone, what a game. See you all for the Villa game.
But will you say Henderson still has a chance of making it at us?
Thanks for the match thread, FBK! Much appreciated.
I wouldn't go as far as that, but if he can string a few more performances like that together then he may prove me wrong.
Thanks FBK
