Fair comment in what you said, but then Rooney wasn't celebrating when he was preparing to take a corner and have objects pelted at him?

It was clearly sarcasticly mocking the Chelsea fans trying to justify coin throwing. Anybody who throws a coin at somebody for nothing is a coward.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who is justifying it?
Defending it, justifying it, what would you rather call it?
You can't say, 'x was wrong....BUT' and then say you aren't trying to justify it.
The cowards who do this have no excuse, plain and simple.
oh and how about you answer the question I asked you BusbyBabes rather than steer clear and try to take a cheap shot at Chelsea?
Your fans were just as bad in the League Cup game, throwing coins at our players and disabled supporters, setting off flares (illegal in this country) but the pro man u media chose to ignore these things
They are cowards too. No excuse for it, scúmbags
"No it doesn't, nobody ran the length of the pitch to do this, it's completely natural to celebrate behind to goal you score at."
Rooney slid right up to US, not you lot, I know, he was right in front of me.
Like I say, don't condone it, but the situation could have easily been avoided.
... The blue who ran on the pitch was taken by the police right accross your section and he got hammered by your lot, whole thing was a joke.

Not justifying it, I was trying to say why it happened. Drunk morons in the crowd and arrogant footballers who try to goad them.
"Barca vs Madrid was the last time I saw as much."
How many points were Barca or Real deducted? If the answer is 0 your entire article is flawed.

Adebayor running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal fans a few seasons was daft, same applies here.
Adebayour got banned for it, is Plug going to get a similar punishment?
The guy who threw the bottle at Bellamy was caught but never taken to court because the stewards wouldn't testify against him.

what a shot !
he knows he has to take his share of the blame
Wondered how long it'd take him to get on twitter and tell the rest of the world his eye is ok and he's just had a 5hit, the guys a belllend... Got his knickers in a right twist when Mario winked at him ffs, yet he seems to think he's completely immune to any blame for what happened.
You'll never convince any United fans that they, or their players ever do anything wrong. That's their mentality - they are united, they do what they want.
MU just scored a decisive last minute winner, in an emotionally charged local derby, and he runs up to the City fans to rub it in their face, what did he think was going to happen - polite applause.
It's becoming a habit of united players these days.
Anyone who looks as creepy as Ferdinand should never celebrate in front of the home fans anyway.

Be interesting to see what happens though... Point deduction is a daft idea so lets put that in the same flawed pile as the inclusion of officials next to the goal line in European games...
Will United be charged for failing to control their players, and inciting what happened.
Or will City be fined for the behaviour of their fans.
Can't see both happening.
Celebrating in front of the opposition fans is one thing if you do it on your own ground and have to seek out the little corner where they are.
It's a bit different if 90% of the ground is made up of opposition fans.

With City fan Bernstein still crying into his pint it'll be United that get charged and Rio banned for not catching the coins, or some other rule he'll make up on the spot

It's not even worth having this discussion if you genuinely believe your lot were trying to keep themselves to themselves.
Rio should be jailed for trying to incite a riot.
I never said that they were.
I don't see any difference between Rooney sliding up to our fans, not yours, and he was right next to yours, and what Ade did myself. Maybe that's just me...
We also know that badman Rio doesn't like it when the gloves on the other hand and he's being winked at in the aftermath of a derby loss.

You can't be serious? Adebayor ran 80 yards to celebrate in front of Arsenal
So many pathetically predictable reactions from Man City fans trying almost to justify the pelting (and injuring) an opposition player for the 'crime' of celebrating a goal.
Those of you who think that there is ANY justification whatsoever for a violent response to such 'provocation' probably should be subject to restraining orders yourselves because there's no telling what you might do if a motorist sounds his horn, someone spills your pint or (heaven forbid) someone looks at you.
So Adebayor running 80 yards is worthy of a ban, but Rooney running 10, or whatever he did, isn't? Doesnt matter how far they ran imo, both resulted in the same thing, crowd incitement and objects being thrown onto the pitch.
We also know that badman Rio doesn't like it
