Even West Ham were in the lower league, they managed to taste the Wembley..whereas, with all the millions spent, Spurs fans settled to support Bayern Hotspur..

Dramatic,

West Ham have a great many self professed fans living within an hour or less travel time of the OS. Certainly more than enough to fill it.

==================

Are you claiming that Upton Park (2 miles away) is too far to travel for most of these "self professed fans"?

For the record, I've never said West Ham will sell out every game. But then, how many clubs do? Certainly not Tottenham.

However, nor do I think the OS will be half-empty. If we get 30k+ at Upton Park with an average team and among the highest ticket prices in the land, then I do think that with reduced prices we'll at least get 45k in the OS.

myhammers,

Certainly not Tottenham.

That's just where you're wrong myhammers, Spurs do sell out every league game.

Chronic,

And it's even confirmed in the official "Deloitte Football Money League 2012" Report:

http://www.deloitte.com/view/en_GB/uk/industries/sportsbusinessgroup/sports/football/deloitte-football-money-league/99b1da37f3245310VgnVCM3000001c56f00aRCRD.htm

"It is also testament to the fact that White Hart Lane continued to be sold out for all Premier League matches".

And before Maf tries to say (again) that its an old report, the report refers to the current sponsorship deals too:

"The club has announced a new five-year kit deal with Under Armour from 2012/13 which will further boost commercial revenue".

Game...

Set...

Match Chicken....

That Deloitte report included the money came from ' once we played in the CL' cup..

Why wouldn't it?

I sold my flat 2 years ago, and i still have the profit of £20k in my bank account. The fact it was 2 years ago doesnt mean the £20k doesn't exist in my finances.

West Ham are going to have a 60k state-of-the-art stadium with masses of corporate seating etc.

And Tottenham are going to have ...a new 5-year kit deal.

They think it's all over. It is now.

Spurs are going to OWN a 60k state-of-the-art stadium with masses of corporate seating etc.

West Ham might be able to RENT a 60k state-of-the-art stadium with masses of corporate seating etc. if they can pay the costs to LLDC.

Unlikley.

So you "more or less" sold out 32,000 when you were a much poorer team. You now sell out 36,600 with a better team.

West Ham "more or less" sell out 36,000 with what Spurs fans never tire of telling us is in their opinion a poor team.

Well if (as the LLDC accountants, among many) believe a move brings increased investment to West Ham and therefore a better team, well. Who knows how many tickets we can sell? Lots I'd day.

No, we sold out 32,000 when it only held 32,000.

Chicken: I thought you Spurs fans were saying your 'new stadium' is going to be 56k. Now you mention 60k. Sounds a bit like wishful thinking.
