I have absolutely no respct for this person.

Last season Scott Brown went and played for Scotland despite having an injury to his ankle.
The week-end after the International break we played D.U. and this wee fekin rat sent his players to take it in turns kicking Brown. A fekin shetbag Houston.

Had to get that off my chest.

Crap manager

Crap players

No surprise Dundee Utd are struggling

Quebecelt,
I can hardly complain about you having no respect for Houston when I don't have any myself and I'm a Utd supporter.
But much as I criticise Houston I would seriously doubt he would send his players out to take turns kicking Scott Brown or any other player for that matter.

Shed boy, I watched the game.
Every time Brown was on the ball he was assaulted.
And Houston was well informed of this injury, being the assistant to big daft Craig.
Oh and you yourself have pointed out he is a dishonourable shetbag.

yeah ok then quebec, whatever

Shedboy, in all fairness the players must take some of the blame, what was Willo thinking i'm not sure if he maybe stumbled or not. I would like Houston share the blame, but i'd also like people to acknowledge him when we do get good results. Its just our defence that needs sorting, quite important right enough

Houstie does need to address this issue in January for me.!!!

This is the guy who plays your highest scoring player at CB?
Is that the guy you're talking about?

Why should the manager take the blame for that?

west coast,
I agree that the players have to shoulder their share of the blame but I think criticism should be done behind closed doors.
But the manager should also acknowledge when he gets it wrong but Houston doesn't appear to think that he ever gets it wrong.
He can't expect the credit when we win and then blame everybody else when we don't.
My concern isn't that he doesn't want to make things right but that he doesn't know how to do it.
I think he's maybe been there too long and it's gone stale.

Let's be honest, as terrible as he is, Houston has a point.

You only have three good players in GMS, Russell and Daly (who despite being your top goalscorer is played in defence)

Of course you're gonna struggle to beat teams, your team is pretty rank rotten

Quebec, he played him at centreback, and it worked. We don't have an army of gloryhunters following our team so we have to work with a smaller squad, I'd like to see any OF manager working with the same finaces as the rest of us. I'd imagine someone like Lennon would easily get relegated with the St Mirren squad

Smartest move I've ever heard of in football.
Play your highest scorer at CB.FFS that's nothing to do with finances.
That is just being a stupid cant.

What do you expect though? He was Levein's assistant and he was never wrong either, at least in his mind and to blind arabs.

Don't understand how you can be three nil up and end up drawing.

No confidence at the back?

Totally agree about keeping things behind closed doors were away from home on sunday, our record away is better than at home so i'm hoping its a win!!!!!

Lauders, it's coz the diddy Houston played Daly at C.F. What was he thinking?

posted on 17/12/12

lauders, has no-one every been 3-0 up and then not won before We were 2-0 down against Celtic after 89 mins and got a draw FFS no-one was on here hailing Housties tactics that day

posted on 17/12/12

Quebec, get a grip its about 6 weeks since he played Daly at the back maybe stick to yer Celtic facts

Quebecelt,
You do a seem trifle out of sorts with Houston.
Surely you can't always be so bitter about another teams manager.
Why does he bother you so much.
Surely not because some bad boys kicked poor wee Scott Brown who has never kicked anyone in his puff.

Gary, very droll.

See westcoast? If he had kept him there, ICT would never have scored 4.

BTW that was a wee joke the last post.
Not surprised you don't have any sense of humour.

Lighten up FFS.
He's a horrible little man; but he's your horrible little man.

And anyway when Daly was playing at the back we'd normally do alright even win, he's very versatile you know You's can have him in January if you can find £15m

Ac milan vs Liverpool in the champsleague final

I know you weren't really asking but i wanted to answer it anyway

Quebec, you do have a point but Daly also scored 2 for us like I said a snip at £15m

150K? Is that what you meant?

Old guy, he should never have been near the Scotland set up.
Same as the diddy Levein.
But Houston used info he found out while with Scotland to try (In my eyes) to injure Brown.

Horrible little man.

BTW where would he ever get another job as big as D.U.?
I suppose he's waiting for somebody to be stupid/desperate to hire Levein and then leave DU in the lurch.

Tim, it could be worse Hibs were 2-0 up against Motherwell at the weekend and look what happened there

Brown is a total hooligan, and charges round like at headless chicken.................... but he's your headless chicken I suppose Believe what you want about Houston, but after 3 top 4 finishes and the cup run (very unlucky in the semi against celtic too) i'm sure he'll get a job
