If we had rvp/ a clinical striker we would have walked the league.
He would have been injured for half the season. We're lucky with those deals...
Rdm would still be manager,
For now
Utd would be about 4th/5th and we'd be a few points clear of the top with City behind us!
but if we didnt have rvp we would still be top 3 easily, rooney would be scoring more if rvp was not signed
Why would you say that naan bread - Rooney rarely has before - why would he turn into a hitman extrordinaire this season?
An ordinary player!
he got 34 goals last season
and i still think rooney is better than rvp
well we finished on 89 points last season without RVP we'd still be title challengers without him.
united will always compete with saf in charge
You'd challenge of course, but you definitely wouldn't be running away with it like you are at the moment. Your goals are compensating for your awful defence
well yh RVP will probably be the difference for us this season come May
but i think if we didnt sign rvp then we would concede less as we just attack at the moment and know we have the fire power to do it as we have 2 world class strikers
If the club weren't so focused on Torres being the main man, RVP wuold have been perfect. I would have preferred him to Falcao or Cavani, espiecally for £24million (not saying he's better). But he'd just suit what we need.
yeah with a good striker you could really push on in the 2nd half of the season
apparently falcao has said he wont move in january
why would he
athletico are on the up and generally a stable club
i don't think chelsea is much of a step up for him
Yeah I can see it now, Atletico winning la liga ahead of Barcelona!
