With players of the same quality i agree HRH, i don't feel we have replaced VDV and Modric with the same quality, Dembele is very very good but he is different to Modders and Dempsey/Siggy are no VDV
--------------------------------------
That much is true. I don't think Dembele is as good as Luka but many do, probably not an awful lot in it.
There wasn't a lot of tears shed when Rafa went either to be honest...everyone wished him well but there was no outrage we'd let him go.

Don mata - FAT SPANISH WAITER! Get Torres out
But Chronic Chelsea are also in transition
Chelsea have spent a billion to get into a transition period. Ony a little chavvie could come up with that one.
hey guys don't forget to comment on AVB's jacket.
he even decided to quote this article in it too
what a doughnut
Also another reasons why i like AVB better than Redknapp is this article here below...
http://www.london24.com/sport/tottenham/avb_urges_spurs_to_build_momentum_1_1755372
The article is AVB coming out talking about building on our excellent form and continue that way to get higher in the league. He is not saying we are going to win the league but he is saying
"We have to continue our progress to hopefully open a gap between us and the rest of the teams that sit near the top."
This kind of talk was never instigated by Redknapp. Harry just thought because he got us in the top 4 it meant we couldn't go any further according to him. This was the attitude he gave off about our club and i think that's probably why we never really warmed to him as much as we should of because Harry did do a very good job. AVB for me has spurs as a club on his mind and that alone......Harry had Harry on his mind and that was about it. AVB for me has done a superb job so far/
I see weares debating skills are as limited as ever
“At the moment everyone is packed together, which is very dangerous,” the Tottenham manager said.
“What we want to do is have a stronger second half to the season than last year.
“We have to continue our progress to hopefully open a gap between us and the rest of the teams that sit near the top.
“Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United will compete for the title between them.
“For the top four Everton are there, Liverpool will come back strongly definitely and there is always a surprise team - last year it was Newcastle, this year it is West Brom. What you want is to finally settle into the top four, opening up some kind of gap if possible.”
Oh God, another Arry !!! ------------------------o
He didn't mention Arsenal
"He didn't mention Arsenal"
No doubt expecting them to reach the CL final in 5th.
Chronic,
Now, if we can avoid the collapse that we had under redknapp (twice in two seasons) then it will be a job well done for AVB.
===================
As i said on another article, prior to Arsenal having a game in hand, where they're game was called off, we have already had a "5 point collapse" in just 2 games over Arsenal.
Doesnt that put a 10 point collapse over 13 games into perspective?
For example, if AVB has one more 5 point collapse over any Top 4 team, does this wipe out all Harry bashings over that 10pts in 13 games?
It should do, but i bet it wont.
