By ruining football you mean buying good players which might make them win the league. Then hell yeh they are ruining football

Aguero is a good player, but for some reason...I don't think he's what we need @ the moment.
If his arrival @ City means they can sell Johnson to us...that would be great!

Like AVB recently said...we don't have to flex our financial power in the transfer market, by playing buyers that are not necessarily needed.

For me, if we can secure the services of Adam Johnson, Pastore, VDW, and maybe Lukaku (not needed at the moment, but for the future) then I'll be more than happy.

Man City are buying all the great players. Leave some for us please .

I agree, I would be very happy with all 4 of these players and would calm down and feel we have a strong team once more

Wouldnt signing those 4 (doubt you will get AJ but who knows) signings flex your financial power?

Pastore will cost 30-50m. Lukaku 15-25m. Johnson 15-20m and VDW 10-20m

Did Balotelli pick him up from the airport?

Really hope Chelsea sign Pastore. Chelsea do need a winger and I agree that Adam Johnson will be a good signing if we get him. Also Chelsea need a new right back, van der Wiel would be perfect signing for that position.

Flexing our financial muscle in the transfer market is by buying players that are not necessarily needed...like City are doing @ the moment.
How many forwards do City have?
Is Aguero needed, or was he bought because they think he's another superstar?

On the other hand, those players I mentioned are what the Club need, in order to improve our squad.
We lack creativity...Pastore would solve that.
Our RB is faulty...VDW will improve that
We lack width...AJ would solve that.
Our forwards are ageing...Lukaku would be a long term replacement.

You get my drift?

Well it depends which way you want to look at it.

We currently have Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli, Adebyaor, Bellamy and RSC.

The last 3 are certainly leaving and Tevez wants to leave. Who knows whats going on with balotelli right now

Do we

1. Sell the players first running the risk of potential targets joining different clubs leaving us with a possibility of only 2 strikers at the club.

2. Buy who we want first and then make a bigger effort to offload unwanted players. We may end upw ith 4/5 strikers come September 1st but its better than the other end of the scale where we would have too few.

Its easy to look at it from which ever perspective you want.

Fair enough...I understand where you're coming from.
Let me ask you this question....do you think if AVB inherited your squad, that he'll be looking to add more players?
I know it's a tough question to answer, but I doubt he would.

Another question is this...do you think City are done with buying players in this transfer window?
I also doubt that.
The simple fact is that City like buying any potential, or already made big name player.

I can guarantee you that, you guys would still buy another player, who may not be needed at the Club.
Man City are like Real Madrid of the EPL.

I don't see your point. City can buy who they want, who are we or anyone else to say if their squad is good enough or not. Mancini needed to buy another striker and he needs to address both midfield positions as well as sign a creative midfielder IMO and I am sure City fans and Mancini would agree.

City buying these players is only better for the PL, not so long ago we did the same thing and were overloaded with midfielders some of whom we had to let go.

Bubbles - Soon to be Don_chelsea

Yeah, but we have the habit of buying players that are needed, not luxury players, and that's the difference.
City do not buy players needed, they buy luxury players.

Is it surprising that they have players who always moan?
How many times have you heard a player moan or throw a tantrum @ Chelsea?
