He's got a buy-out clause of 17m Kent.
"when is isco's contract up?"
-----------
More to do with Malaga's woes than the length of Isco's contract.
Because he'll cost £20m+
==================
Cazorla would have cost even more but got him on cheap because of their financial situation.
'Yes, but it is not ours, and is arguably our strongest, so why sign him? Not as a rotation option for DM, that's just as stupid, so it's a pointless signing (for us)'
Ideally we'd have not bothered giving Ramsey a big new contract. Pointless. We may as well give Gerv, Cham, Djourou, Squillaci etc. a new one.
They want to renew it, and Real or another club will be all over him
Isco will obviously choose us over RM as Santi will tell him how fun it is
If Malaga's appeal to UEFA is knocked back, Isco - and no doubt a few others - will leave them in the summer.

DEPTH. he is free. people are acting like signing him would stop us signing a DM. it wouldnt. it would add depth to all midfield positions, very good depth. what would it take out of our transfer budget? 400k in agent fees?
So is Holtby the replacement for Modric?
It's pointless having someone just sit on the bench for 60k a week! Yes we can rotate him, but we could do that with a youngster, not someone who costs so much, as well as with the players we currently have.
He's not even signing for them until the summer so why the fook is this a big deal?
I don't know why everyone is embarrassed about Holtby to Spurs transfer. He is not what we need anyway. He cant change a game or lead the midfield. He is just another midfielder.
Having too many options is a bad thing. Just look at United and City who have eight strikers who would walk into most PL teams. It's really hindered them...

what players have we got apart from caz wilshere and arteta (ignoring dead diaby0 that are good enough to play almost every game? look at how tired them 3 are, that is because we have no one good enough to replace them. with holtby we would.
Btw Holtby will face a nice welcome back in the Veltins Arena until the season ends. Schalke fans are hardcore fans and like these kind of players.
Holtby wouldn't play almost every game. He'd come in for the odd game here and there to rest them, which we can, and do, do with the players we currently have. Rosicky is more than good enough to be rotation for AM, and I refuse to accept we should play him DM over Coquelin.
There are other players out there yet you're crying about not signing Holtby?! Jesus, anybody would think he was actually world class yet he chose Spurs. Meh,
'Rosicky is more than good enough to be rotation for AM'
Yes, let's concentrate on a quality DM. I think Hargreaves.
I love Rosicky, he's one of my favourite players, and I think when fit he can compete with Cazorla in terms of quality. But he is so injury prone and that also means he might struggle to find top form when he does play.
I'm increasingly believing Coquelin's nothing special.

he would more than the odd game. aslong as we rotated properly like united did. holtby is better than every single one of our bench midfielders. refuse all you want, he played the majority of the season at DM for shcalke last year.
No big loss. Eisfeld is streets ahead of him.

Is there actually a player who we have been linked to that you don't want us to sign?
Dog you WUM.
The only player we've ever signed who I thought 'he might be good for us' before we were even linked with him was Squillaci.
Besides we need a very different type of player to Holtby. We need a big strong midfielder like Capoue or someone similar.
