As much as I agree from what I have seen of Kane, he was far from cack in the Championship.
I have plenty of Millwall pals and they would love to have kept him
HRH,
Is that true?
I have to say, when i saw him for Millwall (not much, i admit) he looked terrible.
He's riduclously slow, and bar one brilliant goal, his shooting didnt look much kop.
But if they rate him, fair enough.
When did you see him? He had a slow start for them but one he's settled in he and Keogh (I think) were flying....I'm sure he scored a few screamers for them.
General concencus was he wouldn't 100% make a good Prem player but would definitely be a top Championship player
HRH,
The game that sticks in my mind is the game they lost to West Ham.
Kane was clean through, in the last minute of the game, but couldnt have hit his shot any softer or slower.
When i read about him whilst in our academy, i really thought he would smash it when he was promoted to senior level - but he was nothing like how he was described.
Apart from that one run where he took the keeper on & won a pen in that EL game, i cant say he has done anything to take note of.
Shame.
money grabbign waste of space.. fecking stay out there for all i care

Found this. Pretty much wanted him for another season to a man.
He's young, maybe too young to write off but you watch a player and get a feel. My gut says he's not quick enough, and isn't a clever enough player to make up for it....neither of which are things you generally learn at his age.
Can see him being an 'inbetweener' such as Earnshaw or Huckerby, or having to re-invent himself like Kevin Davies
The signing of Damiao is a must as I have always been concerned about Adebayor's loyalty or lack of it !!
