That link has Villa in third place. I can't believe that at all!

Got to say I had a chuckle to myself before I posted it. Not the most scientific of tests if you have a read of the methods they used.
To be honest, it is difficult to measure nowadays with the difference in stadiums that some clubs have as to which fans actually generate the most noise. I know someone who works at transworld sport, and the difference through the television is massive as well depending on both where they put the mikes but also how much they turn the volume up on them.
Wasn't that one of the tricks Sky used when they first started. Turn up the volume so you get the impression that the commentators are struggling to make themselves heard even if the crowd are quiet and the stadium is half empty.
They turn it down when the crowd start swearing at the ref
