To be fair that still happens to me now, but only with real life people, not some of the utter dopes that frequent this forum.

I've got a lot of friends in Manchester who are absolutely sound win, lose or draw but the difference with them is I got to choose them as friends.

Didi

Yeah it's less common when you're not on TEH INTERNETZ, but there's still a mild desperation to cover all your bases these days that I don't remember when I wad younger.

I don't get why there always has to be an excuse for everything and people just throw out anything in order to justify losing. If your team plays crap, it isn't that hard to just admit it is it?

Cheers lads, it's on the Liverpool board now, although it wouldn't let me put it on the Livingston board in honour of BennoRedManc.

I predict that if will lose it'll be Downing, Henderson, Allen, and FSG's fault.

It will also be Sturridge's fault Fatjan, and conclusive proof that he was a terrible signing and we should have spent £12m on Julio Geordio instead.

We can just use the excuse made famous by 10 year olds in playgrounds everywhere since football began......."we let you win"

Or "its your ball, i'm not used to playing with your ball" this was actually used by a mate about 25 years ago after losing a game of SPOT!! He still gets ripped for it now.

I live with a united fan, this is a tense time of year!

The cup final line is purely pathetic and childish from stupid United fans with no sense of decency, grace or modesty.

#Standard

When'd you put the Xabi back in your name? I asked you this on one of your old threads and you ignored me.

It was earlier this week, Monday I think. I think it was because I looked back at some old 606 bits and decided it was better. Plus Xabi was thinnly rumoured to be possibly leaving Real and also the fact that he gave us more than Aquilani by far (although I think i was Alberto's biggest and most patient fan).

I work with a liverpool fan and every hour of every day this week he's been telling me that we will get a pen, skrtel will get sent off, webb will make sure we win and purple nose is a cancer in the game, i myself have kept my counsel which has somehow made him even angrier, i'll put it down to nervous tension, either that or an inferiority complex.

I blame the Internet. Damn you World Wide Howard Webb.

Imagine if the Xabinator came back... They keep showing the interview he did with LFCtv when he left as well, it's heartbreaking.

I also find it difficult not to burst into tears at the sight of Jason Bateman since Xab left.

Don't even mention Xabi and that ice bothering ponce in the same sentence again.

posted on 11/1/13

I just googled him because i didnt know who the feck he is. Does look like him a lot though.

There is a lot of love for Xabi and that's something LFC fans have more than most i think. Popular players continue to almost be treated the same years after they have left. Xabi, Biscan, Kuyt, Hamann (on twitter) and many others.
