kayal thats utter mince !!!

Ive actually been more impressed this season with what Hooper does away from the goal than any others , hes been played off the front man in a few games this season and his link up play is almost flawless

Dont know what games you've been watching but are you really saying hooper has been poor this season??

Again, not denying Hooper is quality. He's got more in him than he's showing ATM

Hooper is one of the best strikers since larsson, hes just recently hit 50 league goals for us.

Goals in the big games is what i look for in a player and he has done it time and time again. Must keep him at all costs

9 goals and 3 assists over half way through the season. You're kidding yourself if you think he's improving or putting in enough effort, he's about 6th top scorer in the SPL just now. What games have you been watching?

He's scored 18 all in

4 of his 5 league cup goals were against Raith, the other against St johnstone. Not good enough for me, and considering his ability it points to an attitude problem

He's only interested in Europe, and Sammy has out scored him there

Isn't the supposed marker for a good Cletic striker, 20 goals a season?

He's scored 18 halfway through.

We'll have to completely disagree on this one

Hooper is a top striker no doubt about it. If he is refusing to sign a contract then he obvioulsy doesnt want to be here and I would let him go. I know people keep saying why would he want to go to Norwich as he wont win anything there. But there he has a better chance of making the England squad and people will take his skill more seriously than playing up here, regardless of the CL. Look at Thomo, he was the greatest player England never had. Also Football player is a very short career and he will want to make sure he is set for the rest of his life. If you have ever heard him speak you know he isnt gonna be a rocket surgeon. I say fair play to him. Ill be gutted to see him go but from playing non league footy a few years ago to playing in the CL and almost getting a shot at playing for England. He has done well and deserves a big money move. No sour grapes here.

He is class, ok he hasnt scored as many this season as before in the league, thats as he has set such high standards and to be honest as you know the team itself isnt turning it on in the league as they know they dont have to with the absence of rangers

Twenty league goals is decent for a Celtic striker, but that was also when the SPL was better. Niall McGinn has scored 14 SPL goals already this season ffs, if Hooper can't that points to a lack of desire in my opinion. Unless you think McGinn is a better player?

It's not only Hooper, I agree there. Most of the team has an attitude problem. We only have 2 or 3 players that give 100% every game.

thats up there with Murneys Stokes is better than Hooper shout

Stokes scores as many goals to games and does much more outside the 6 yard box.

at my opinion again and I'll be seeing you outside right now

Are we not keeping tabs on Luciano Becchio?
Very good replacement if Hooper decides to go.

Lucian O'Becchio would be a great signing

The SPL is a stepping stone to the PL for lower league players like Hooper.
