problemly because he will hear how he not the cheat. how the ref is at fault for not seeing he cheated, also we are told that to go down easy or with out being touched is their right has a player.explained by the word intent.if a player put a foot in for a tackle then the attacker has the right to go down touched or not that the sad truth of football today

Unless your owner starts to spend the cash.

Diving...tsk tsk tsk.

Terrible business. Southampton should be ashamed. Desperately sorry for Aston Villa; what a conundrum for them.

used to it now, villa fans have felt all forms of misery situations possible lately... just need to score a goal then have it dissallowed and then lose to an own goal ...then the misery collection is complete.

Can't really blame Paul Lambert on this occasion - just plain unlucky with some abysmal ref decisions and poor finishing.

It also makes me wonder how Villa will ever score goals should anything happen to Benteke?

You lot are in serious trouble now. When your post xmas form plummets you into the drop zone it really is a slippery slope. Earlier in the season it can be rectified, but now it's so much harder.

Realistically, if you could bring in 3 players to try and save you who would you have?

I remember when the fans used to chant Lerner's name. He doesn't even care about you.

Didn't help chronic that your team of world beaters couldn't beat QPR!!!

Reading score three late goals, Wigan get a point.

Rodriguez goes over as if he's watched Bale too often

My deep down thought is that we will get to the Carling Cup Final and survive, but it's going to be a hideous few months

you should know better than to rely on us for results

if the situation can be facked up, then we are certain to find a way to do it

How do you work that out Andy.
This time last year we were 5 points better off but only won two matches in the second half of the season...and just escaped relegation.
Could anyone tell me which teams we are going to beat in the second half of this season.
I hope Bradford put us out of the league cup next week as i can forsee a wembley mauling by either Chelsea or Swansea.
For the first time in 40 years i have given up hope...sorry but thats the way it is

If only.

I haven't worked it out mate, I just hope that we will find a solution quick.

We shouldn't get thrashed by Swansea, but yes could by Chelsea, but just to get there would be good.

I've almost given up too, but each week I think it only get better

if only - we've already won as many matches this season as we did all last season. That's how we are going to stay up.

We had a run of three bad matches over Xmas, but apart from those (cup matches don't count) we haven't played badly of late. We only missed out on three points against Swansea last thing, and today fate and Benteke's shooting was against us.

I think QPR are sunk. In spite of Reading winning today I think they are too. Southampton in spite of winning today aren't very good. Wigan are struggling. So are Newcastle. I think we can improve, and I think we can get results. It's going to be a battle, but I think we can do better than at least three of those around us, which at the end of the season is what counts.

Far too optimistic MCP.

Poor, poor Villa. Losing is becoming so boring now.

I've pretty much given up hope. We've been rubbish for years and we deserve to go down. I love the club but we have brought this all on ourselves.

If we do somehow stay up it will be a miracle. We're playing dire football and we're so much worse than all the teams around us including QPR. There's no point in sacking Lambert because no one could manage Villa effectively under Lerner.

Such a shame to see the decline of a once decent football club. Relegation will be horrible but we're just not good enough for the Premier League.

How ironic if Forest get promoted with Mcleish and Villa are relegated.

When decisions start going against you as they did today it is a sign that you are doomed. I predicted Villa for a shock big club relegation last season, but you avoided it, this season I thought you'd do better with lambert in charge - his ineptitude has surprised me. You need some experienced heads in that squad if you're gonna get out of this - spurs are looking to get rid of gallas - he's slow but he's the kind of experienced leader you should be looking to bring in if you've any hope of surviving.

I think you'll go this year, which is a shame as its a good club, but it could be what you need - a year in the championship for your younger player to gain experience, Lambert knows how to get out of that league and as Newcastle proved last season it's possible to come back stronger.

I remember on the old 606,when some Villa fans reckoned Moyes was going ditch Everton for them. I had a running battle with some of you lot, and I couldn't stand your club, but I feel sorry for you now,as I know what you're going through, and how you're feeling.
