Dean has been very good in my opinion today
Mike Dean always cheats against Arsenal.
The Referee hasn't ruined anything your player gave him a reason to send him off and he did... Thats like saying no one should get sent off as he may ruin the game..
If getting decisions right makes him a star so be it
maybe you shouldnt rugby tackle players in the box
I never knew that rugby tackling was legal in football. News to me.
Referees shouldn't be card happy his job is to ensure fair play, City were rewarded with a penalty that is enough the foul wasn't dangerous play where a play was in danger of getting injured its just the case of a little insignificant jobs worth wanting to be in the limelight

It doesn't have to be dangerous play, stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity is a red. Yes it seems harsh when they get a pen too but Dean has got it right
Koscielny denied a goalscoring opportunity by rugby tackling Dzeko. That is a red card.
What part of that do you not understand?
Ffs, it was a foul, hence the penalty, but Szczesny was getting to the ball ahead of Dzeko who was not in control of it.
Soon Vermaelen will be off as well

Szcezesney was only getting to it because Koscielney stopped Dzeko from getting to it. It wasn't like the Skrtel one earlier where Reina was collecting it almost as the foul happened
I suppose if it was Man City that did this the OP would be fully supporting Dean for his decision.
Wenger will no doubt whine to the press saying it was a poor decision and it changed the course of the game. Cry me a river, and grow up.
Clear pen, disputable red because the goal scoring opportunity was nowhere near as clear cut as many here would have you believe. Even allowing for Koscielny's foul, Szczezny was favourite for that ball. Penalty and yellow is punishment enough.
Koscielny obviously though Dzeko was favoured to score so why should the ref think any differently? Clear penalty, clear red.
Now that was a poor red card decision
Surprised he didn't send Giroud off there.
Penalty and yellow for me. I don't agree with this punishing a team twice for one incident stuff. Perhaps intention should be used instead. Did the player mistime the tackle or did he intentionally stop him from having a goalscoring opportunity? I think in the former it shouldnt be a red. On the latter possibly.
You may not agree with it but if it's a penalty it's a red
Since when did getting a penalty mean a red?
Stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity, and Dzeko would have tapped it in if he wasn't hauled down, is a red. Once the penalty was given it had to be red.
That's the thing though, it wasnt clear, it was debatable and thus shouldn't have been a red.
