Hahaha. Spurs fans want the Chelsea CL win credited to Boas.

Yeah... It was AVB's fault
How about the constant change in management, coaching, backroom staff. How about the 6-7 head coaches/managers they've fired.
It takes time for a manager to settle, get a squad together, tactics, etc, etc... Look at Fergy ffs, the bloke was one game away from getting the sack.
Now look.
Chelsea FC are an absolute joke of a club. If things go a bit sideways, sack the manager and blame him for everything
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet since 2003 you have had a whooping 1 less manager than we have.
Walked in to that one didn't you
Di Matteo/Mourinho/Ancelotti/Hiddink/Avram didnt fail at Chelsea. They won trophies in their time at Chelsea. AVB failed. Won nothing.
Desperate for silverware are Spuudiess

Mr Chelsea, AVB spent 7 months with them, brought in one of your best players aka Mata. Cahill is a good singing and Meireles, well he wasn't exactly world class but he did ok I think. So the fact of the matter is, credit does need to go to AVB for that season
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
With that logic Vialli deserves three PL title's because he promoted John Terry.

It wasnt even Di Matteo's team that won the CL. He just guided it. The team was built up over a number of years through a succession of managers.
--------------------------------------------------------
So, if that is the case....why the hell are Chelsea fans singing out Di Matteo's name then every week?

Because he's a legend as a player and as a manager. You lot off all people should know that the amount of times you were on the receiving end
Kings Road, you are seriously missing point my pal
Chronic adding nothing to the thread, nothing new.
Think about it. He's an ex player and came back to manage us after Ginger ruined the team and won the FA Cup and the CL against all the odds.

A legend as a Manager? What after 3 months in charge? You and Mr Chelsea are totally contradicting each other here. 1 is saying that AVB deserves no credit as apparently it wasn't his team. The other is saying he is a legend as a Manager.
Make your minds up chaps!
I don't see how Hugo.
Saying AVB deserves credit for us winning the CL because he signed a few of the players that played in Munich is wrong on every level.
He deserves credit for getting us past the GS, but that is as far it goes.
Hugo, the timing of it all. Basically Mr Chelsea has covered it.
No contradictions. Think you're looking too much into things and making a mountain out of a molehill. Its pretty simple what's been said to you.
The only person who cried when he left Chelsea, was Boas himself

is that why roman shunned him when di matteo said "i won it" to roman after the cl final?
Kings Road, think what i'm saying logically mate. AVB spent a chunk of his time with the same Chelsea team that won the CL. So by the time he got sacked, Chelsea were playing his style of football. Di Matteo had very little time to reshuffle the team, therefore to give him all the credit (as you clearly have by calling him a legend) and zero credit to AVB (who guided Chelsea for most of that season) makes no sense at all.
AVB's objective for the season was a top 3/4 finish, show positive signs for the future and a respectable shot at the cups.
He failed miserably at 2 and was half was to humiliating crash out's of the 2 cups we ended up winning.
