QPR 2 - 2 Villa
Lewandowski, Pogba; Xavi, Tello

Well, with QPR battling for the title, and Villa clawing their way out of relegation, a point each is not what either manager would've wanted.

Punting will definitely be the more disappointed, his QPR team is insanely strong, and but for some lax defending at the death QPR would've really lit a fire up underneath Swansea and Sunderland. Lewandowski fired them into the lead after latching on to a pin perfect cross from Kuba, the old Dortmund connection paid off here.

Little changed up until substitutions, with Pogba coming on for the home fans, with Vidal leaving to thunderous applause, he had a stormer. Controlled the game but perhaps his tenacity and perseverance took it out of him too early, he flagged towards the end and Punting rightly gave him a well deserved rest. The substitution looked to have worked, with Pogba quickly netting the second and looking to seal the deal for the Londoners.

However, Di wasn't having any of it. Quickly off her seat she bellowed, insulted and cajoled her players into a performance. The tide soon turned and QPR were bombarded. A silly tackle from Sandro gave Xavi the chance to line up a freekick which swirled, curled, and then dipped past Ter Stegen, superb freekick.

At 2-1 QPR still led, but when Jesus' poor clearance from a hoof upfield landed at Tello's feet the former Barca man knocked it inside past Rafael before taking a mighty whack at it to happily see it sail into the far corner of the net.

MOTM - Vidal, controlled the game and was easily the best player on the pitch. His bombastic role in the side left him tired and needed substituting, but what he gave in those 75 minutes was incredibly influential. QPR have a great player here.
