Aston Villa 1 - 0 West Ham

Aston Villa sneaked a draw against fellow strugglers West Ham in a turgid affair. Both teams were sent out with their fullbacks, normally good outlets for attacks, shackled in their own half. It led to a game where the defenders stifled the attackers by sheer numbers more than anything.

A few early signs from Eriksen saw the game seemingly swing in favour of the hammers, but Sigorthssen was unable to latch onto any of the crosses or rebounds which could've seen Di get one over on Di.

However, Villa sprung a speedy counter attack which saw Xavi pick the ball up from a Buffon throw forward. He turned, and showing his usual composure dinked the ball over Agger and into the path of an onrushing Thiago who passed the ball into the net.

Di orchestrated both teams, and could be heard yelling for players to be "big and strong" in everything they did. Ultimately though it came to nothing, neither team was able to break down the defensive human shield set up before them. Not a game for the neutrals or the fan who enjoys a tactical battle, but a much needed tonic for Villa. Three points could be enough to see them drag themselves out of the relegation mire and into the light of midtable.

MOTM - Eriksen. In a game of few chances, the early showing by the Dane was a heartening oasis of footballing talent in an arid desert of a match.

21 im sorry but I couldnt do it

i did say that id find it difficult with revision. tomorrow both results will be posted but it cant be a full report. then i wont be doing results until the exams are over. (di will continue) so dont worry it'll be better this week

and ill give the remaining teams 2 extra days to sign people when the result is given
