Zaha for 15million? You can keep him!

Surely the money is better spent on Sneijder?

Sneijder - who plays in Rooney's and Kagawa's position, who has been injured for most of the past two years and wants a lot of money? I think he missed that boat over a year ago. He can only play in the hole and not as a CM or anywhere else effectively.

No worries, we intend too keep him! "He's good for you", "He's good for you", "He's good for you".

I'm not even sure Utd are even after him, this is all just paper talk anyway.

And like Poppin says, for 15 million plus add-ons.... No thanks.

I haven't seen much of him, if anything at all.

Personally, I don't think you have all the top English clubs chasing you if you're a poor player, so he must have something about him.

Plus he's English, which will bump up his price. Palace don't want to sell him so they'll get whatever they can.

£15m in today's football world isn't much when you consider we bought Bebe for half that.

Maestro

That's the most intelligent thing i've seen typed about this player on here

It's what I do.

Not against him signing, like I've said before not seen a single second of him.

But price does seem to be high, however in today's game like above that's not massive.

(Henderson 20 million for example)

£15m?? Seems a bit pricey for a live performance of Bambi on ice.

Fergie has truly lost it if he pays 15m for this donkey (Although I am 99% sure he won't)
He didn't have a penny to spend on central midfielders for 5 years and then he plans to blow 15m on this british piece of tripe.

It actually is if one has the sense on how to spend it. It can get you genuine world class players like Ozil.

Or Downing for £5m more.

Ozil was in the last year of his contract.

£15m... ffs... reads worse every time I see it.. maybe in real form it will look better.. £15,000,000.. Nope.. if i write it perhaps, fifteen million pounds... ouch, that was painful to type!! Fackin hell Fergie, don't do this!!

'Ozil was in the last year of his contract.'

Why don't people understand things like this? Messi could be available on a free transfer if he ran his contract down.

How about this,

Carroll - Downing = Zaha

Zaha? No, thanks.

We can and should do better.

What bebe has to with it baffles me. Victor moses, similar player, moved to Wigan for 3 million, moved to Chelsea for 10 million, proven, already twice the player zaha is now and you think 15 million is not too much? Why not start from the beginning of your logic process and if still feel the same then there's not need to debate

Didn't he say on twitter yesterday that he's joining the team at the top of the PL? Hate it when players so stuff like that. Anyway, make of it what you will.

Was having a discussion with a guy I work with and we both agreed that we don't really care about the money, that's for the club to manage.

If this lad is really as good as they say, then it might be another "Gareth Bale" situation where we didn't move quick enough.

It's always hilarious seeing fan reactions to transfer fees as if there's some mythical exact amount the team has to spend on players and that if we spend £15 million on Zaha that somehow we'll not have enough in this mythical pot to buy Messi or Ronaldo.

If we buy Zaha who cares if he costs £8 million or £12 million or £15 million?

It's not your money and does it really make any difference whatsoever what we pay?

The only thing that matters is whether he's successful or not. In the summer there were plenty of people on here that said anything over £15 million for RVP would be a rip off. Don't believe me? Go back and see yourself.

All the junior accountants on here always like to put their own value on players but maybe the people who are paid to do this for a living actually know what they're talking about.

Just wait and see how Zaha does here if he comes before baulking at this fee. It's 2013. £15 million really isn't that much. Oxlade Chamberlain was £12 million and he was from league 1.

15 mill for an half decent "British" player in today's market isn't bad going.... But i wouldn't even class him as half decent tbh!

Why don't fans realize that Zaha is a donkey. I have seen him a few times and he trips over his own feet.

Quick, someone tell Sir Alex and Wenger! Those fools need this plucky young fellow from India to show them the error of their ways!

Now who did that at the weekend after going on a mazy run against liverpool.

And our resident ITK Rob has genuine information that Sir Alex and Wenger are interested in him and might even enter into a fistfight with each other to sign him.
