Throughout his tenure AW has always focussed on the player rather than their value. This is also why the club never disclose transfer fees.
It is common knowledge that there are considerable resources available but It would go against all AW's ideals to make such a statement like the one above.

It's gonna be a tough run in to get 4th anyway... But, there's A LOT of football left to play. The team/squad NEEDS a serious boost, 2 quality players can and (I think) probably will make a world of difference, without getting too carried away, may well be the difference between bagging a champs league place or not.
I'm definitely of the mind that no reinforcements coming in this month will result in a finish between 5th & 9th, which in the cold light of day, is just not acceptable when (allegedly) the money is there to spend on helping remedy the problems on the pitch.
