they need to cover up and stay in doors
Seriously if the person is good enough why NOT..
If the women can play for the men then the men can play in the womens team, right?
I will seriously stop watching any county cricket if a women ends up play for any of the XI.
Yeah well your team may be improved if you get a few women in the team..
I dont care if you wish to stop watching cricket.. You can do has you wish.
You never answered my question... Allow what you think of me, and not caring whether I stop watching, allow that.
What I want to know, can the men now play for the womens team?
There is no such thing as the men's team, it's England, Australia, whatever. It just so happens all the best players are guys. If a girl is good enough to play for a county XI then she's good enough.
Why would they wish to? this is about certain talented ladies playing in first class cricket.. You need to get a grip and stop being a male chauvinist.
Lets be honest if I was playing first class cricket and a women cricketer played in the mens XI... I would be more interested in banging her than being interested in how she performs.
yeah well thats how you treat women aint it? your the MAN., haha your insignificant and thats REALITY ..
It seems to me your getting wound up... Relax
No i just have issues with those who have egos bigger than they deserve ,, Oh and i never get wound up.. I don't need to get angry and responces on a mere messageboard.. Anyway this aint worth my time CYA..
I lost to a girl in a table tennis match during a tournament held at my college nearly 4 years ago but uptill now I am reminded of that defeat by my colleagues and friends. Best for men is to play against men only.
Can u imagine the ignominy for a men to be clean bowled by a woman.
When I was playing league cricket, we had a guy who's wife played for he uni team, and was a decent medium pace bowler. She would play for us and took more than her fair share of wickets. I would open with our other quick, and she would come on first or second change. We'd just crowd the batsmen and be in their ears saying, 'mate, you don't want to be getting out to a girl'. They would normally just try and clout her out of the ground, and then either get caught in the deep, or bowled.
If a woman is good enough, she should be able to play.
I was keeping last season when the oppo's no11 left early so they sent out one the players girlfriend, didn't stop me from sledging her and she finished 4*.
I still make jokes at the bowler than got leg glanced for four.

If u win against them in an individual event, people will say it was against woman and if u lose,u will live rest of your life in 'humiliation'.

Well it's all well and good a woman playing Test Cricket, but if a man was to swear at a female batsman or bowl a bouncer and hit her in the face (or maybe lower down), there would be outrage. The man would be treated like a villain. It's human nature.
Equality is fine on paper, but in practice, men and women aren't equal at all. None are better or worse (well I actually think women are much better and fitter), but we just aren't equal. Simple.

If we are all so equal, why do women always want to play in the men's team, but not the other way round?
Suppose women are better than men at ballet (I have no idea), how often would a man want to get into a women's ballet team?

Agree with JT though I have no clue what the counter argument is, thanks to filter.
If she wants to play with the men, then surely there no-one would hold back?
I think she has also faced some of the eng u-19 bowlers at league level and most of them are at 85mph+
I don't see the problem in this, sure men bowl faster and the ball a little bigger, so she might have to adjust a little but don't we all want to keep improving by playing at a higher level, win or lose?
England already have a girl playing for them, Stuart Broad....
