Ah not just me then - been like this since yesterday afternoon

Its been announced on a few gaming sites and Sony keep knocking the estimated downtime back.

Dead until ten at the moment

if it goes passed ten it will be a joke

just like the last time deadlines set and missed untill they just say "down indefinitely"

The worst part is if you stayed online before the maintenance you would still be online and could play games

also you hear a lot "dont complain about something you get for free"

While thats true to an extent, people only say that because microsoft made mugs out of millions and made them think they should actually pay

If you buy the hardware, the game and your internet connection theres no way you should be made to subscribe for mere access

Xbox has superior service compared to PlayStation, main reason being we pay for subscription.

i've had my ps3 for nearly 7 years... would have cost me nearly £300 for something i get from sony for free

I would rather go with a few days downtime and invest my money in an annual subscription to Playstation Plus, getting me a few full games to download instead.

Mugs that pay £5 a month for live

£26 for 12 months for me - has been that way for so long for those who know how to use google, I can justify spending £2.04 a month for what I believe is a better service, but if I was forced to spend a fiver a month I'd buy a ps3...

But my opinion hasnt changed, you shouldnt have to subscribe to play computer games, be it WoW, XBL or DLC's the more people who pay these extra costs the more extra costs will be introduced
