Kop101, good point, well made. You should really be on the debating team at school.

You don't put Agger in your team due to a few injuries, surely you should do the same for RVP, no?
I still don't see how you can say for CERTAIN that RVP's goal against Barca involved no vision. A guy recieves the ball as he drives into the area, he looks up at his options and decides to hit it at the near post, exploiting the gap left by the keeper. Except you're Van Persie himself, every thing you're saying is presumptious. There's no shred of evidence he just put his foot through the ball and hoped for the best. He may have anticipated the keeper would come off his line and hit it through the only gap he could score. In the end, all we're doing is speculating.

Being 100% certain doesn't make you right about anything. Saying 2+2=5 and being "certain" of it's correctness doesn't make it right. And your analogy with Gerrard is pretty silly. A more apt analogy would be saying he hit a 20 yard scorcher while clearly targetting the top-right corner and making it even though a slight deviation from the sweet spot of the ball could send it to row z.
He may not have spotted the exact gap, but its up for debate as to whether or not he anticipated the keeper would move out expecting a cross and so aimed for the near post
