only trained fully for the first time in 4 weeks on tuesday
Makes sense I suppose but like you said mex a huge blow for England, especially considering Sunday's opposition too.

Also said performance of last weekend goes to Ireland. Can't say I agree with that. Yes they were very good but for as good as they were Wales were shocking in the first half.
Italy should have got his vote for performance of the weekend.
italy have to get performance of the week for last week, that'll probably be the performance of the tournament

Ireland unchanged
Seems that Gordon D'Arcy's main role will be to get theshit knocked out of him by England's back row and centres and protect O'Driscoll and the three quarters
Probably about the best you can expect from him, but I hope he's updated his medical insurance!
Ireland: R Kearney; C Gilroy, B O'Driscoll, G D'Arcy, S Zebo; J Sexton, C Murray; C Healy, R Best, M Ross; M McCarthy, D Ryan; P O'Mahony, S O'Brien, J Heaslip.
Replacements: S Cronin, D Kilcoyne, D Fitzpatrick, D O'Callaghan, C Henry, E Reddan, R O'Gara, K Earls.
Where's Croft is he injured again? Haskell is ok and seems to have improved after playing in the SH but I'd still want Crofty at 6 over him.
My predictions by the way:
Italy 12 - 10 Scotland
Scots have home advantage but didn't show enough for me. Italy are on a high and look to finally have found some half-backs
France 25 - 21 Wales
The French as usual have been overrated maybe because of the strength of their domestic league, i don';t know. I saw the team sheet against Italy and thought it looked average in places and I'm not sure it will be any better.
Still at home I think they'll beat the Welsh who just can't get their game together for 80 minutes
Ireland 15 - 21 England
This one will go one of two ways. Either England have matured and will win a close match or they'll make the same rookie mistakes against an experienced and talented Irish side who will put them to the sword. I'm hoping for the former but wouldn't be surprised by the latter
croft still has that neck injury he has hardly played in months, cockerill said the other week he wont be 100% for months
Cheers Mex...
I thought he was properly back and playing a couple of weeks ago after the neck problem. He'd be handy about now!
he did play but cockerill says he wont be fully fit for months, so not sure
Morning.
Another day of Six Nations action kicking off with Italy v Scotland at 14:30 then France v Wales at 17:00. Ready?
Morning gents...so excited about today!!!
2 absolutely cracking matches i reckon!
I've slept on my England v Ireland prediction and have gone back to what i thought a couple weeks ago it will probably be the Irish by 5!
Certainly torn opinions on tomorrow's game and who people think will win - but I too have said Ireland, by 3.
Today I think Scotland and France. France is the one I'm more confident about but after Italy's performance last week they might turn over the Scots. Looking forward to that game the most today.
If the Italians haven;t knackered themselves out from last weekend I really think they'll be too strong for Scotland...their ball retention was excellent
It's an intriguing encounter that's for sure.
You know what, Italy might just be top of the table after February's matches. It's a tall order I know but, a win today and then a home match against troubled Wales in a fortnight? It's a possibility.
Just throwing that idea out there - what does everyone think?
Need to pop out now but should be back about 15/20 mins into the first half.
