tgbas,
not keen on the welsh (especially Bale)
Think Denton is nailed on for the LT
Just watched the highlights again. Hogg is just amazing!!!!!
Logie
Can't see Denton on the plane if he's not starting for Scotland. I'd play him open side at the mo, but what do I know. Mind you, it doesn't help when he's got hands like feet.
Think im getting carried away, show.
Ive just named 6 players to make the LT. Gray,Beattie, Laidlaw, visser, Maitland and Jackson
Denton
I can comment based on what I saw gonnae. I was talking about the red headed lad. Maybe it's fair to say that I wasn't paying that much notice, but from what I recall, his handling looked to not be of international standard, and he seemed to be slow to commit on occasions.
What's the talk from last night? Still on about the Scots and their charge for the championship?
Hello Gents, I trust there was a fair amount of debate yesterday which i totally missed. Anyway. Fair play to Scotland they showed us that Italy well and truly performed beyond their realistic level against France and indeed France under performed in Italy.
France and wales, I predicted France but was delighted to see them getting beaten. I have to admit that after the first 30 mins I knew Wales were going to win. France were awful. I have never seen a worse french side. The North Try was a Peach!!! Saint-Andre replaces Marc Lièvremont and France can go down in history as having the 2 worst ever coaching teams back to back that the world has ever bloody seen.
Anyway, C'MONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN IRELAND!!!!
It was a lively thread when Scotland-Italy was on but I think the France-Wales game put everyone to sleep, myself included.
A good win for Wales in the end though on a terrible pitch.
Huge game today - I suspect mex will get a thread going at some point although he disappeared into thin air as well yesterday afternoon.
Well RKW like i said last week i cant comment on here and watch the game its one or the other. and im afraid this place comes off a distant 2nd. LOL
Anyway. Conditions will suit England. It's dire weather in Dublin. Gonna bucket with rain and is 5 degrees, that's not good for us.
A note on the Pitch yesterday. Thats got to be the worse case of cutting up i have ever seen. id they lay that turf the night before the game or what? Seems the ground staff are as lazy as the team.
LOL whats the odds of this happening - http://www.rte.ie/archives/2013/0208/366764-lansdowne-road-1951-ireland-3-england-0/
It was like it had been fresh rolled just a few days before.
Looking back at the archives are we?
My Grandad has a dilemma today. As a Man Utd fan they play at 4pm, so he will definitely catch the first half of the rugby and second half of the football. In between, sounded like he'd indicated to me earlier that rugby gets his vote. We'll see.
Looks like mex has been beaten to the match thread as well
never mind less work for me
True. I'll probably stick around here to be honest it's where most people end up when the matches are on.
yeah ill stop here aswell
Dirty wet day in Dublin, don't want to walk to the shop.
Yeah DingBatMan say saying earlier about the weather conditions. He reckons they'll suit England - early excuses in my opinion.
