so no manager has ever been a success on a tight budget?
Also Warnock has had plenty of cash, he has just wasted it
Matty, name me a club who has got promoted to the Prem with very limited resources and then competed well the following year?
Also we haven't bought a player for £1m+ in years, we're Leeds United for christs sake.
People's expectations in the transfer market have really dropped. Hull spent £2.5m on one player. Do you think we can match the top 6 for spending?
Can't see the point of replacing the manager now. We should just give him his full season then call it a draw. He really is drinking in the last chance saloon. If we do poorly in the next three games, which looks highly likely, we can defo kiss the season goodbye. A new manager's not gonna turn things around in a hurry with this squad. MOT !!! Come on Leeds !
Do people think we have spent money?
http://transferleague.co.uk/championship-tables/championship-to-date.html
Leeds have spent £1.85m and sold much more! Net spend minus £1.7m
Hull have spent £2.5m
Cardiff - £7.3
Leicester - £4.2
Brighton - 0

Is it just me, or do those figures not make sense?
when we have no chance of promotion get a new manager in to prepare for next season
In what way Sol?
The spent figures are transfers in. The Leeds net figure is after transfers out.
Brighton have just spent 2m on Leonardo Ulloa
Derby putting in bid for blackstock
How the hell can nw keep up when teams are doing that?
He's done a good job and should be given next season with his money. Adkins got backed there and not there club is not same has ours. Would he really be good? Not sure.
stoopo,
on phone so haven't looked properly, but first couple of rows the average per season can't be right.
Going off figures from horsforths link.
blue, I wouldn't give warnock a penny more
beyond this window. You already have enough dead wood.
Sol - I'll take another look later.
The figures are incorrect, if you look at the Leeds only transfers, there is no mention of Gradel coming in from Leicester for 100k, nor his sale to St. Etienne for 1.5m.
Also the season we sold Delph for 6m, we apparently spent 4.7m on nobody.
