Leaks for new machines are ALWAYS horrible wrong. I am looking forward to a new system though. Feels like its been ages.

Havent got my hopes too high as im expecting more a PS3.5 and xbox540. Im expecting really just more of the same always @ 1080 this time. Its not gonna be as big as the previous new consoles, and i imagine to tell the difference between games for example on the ps3 and 4 in stills will be near enough impossible. However, the upside will be consoles that can cope with full versions of stuff like BF3

TBH i wish they'd wait til like 2016 and get more games out for the ps3 TBH but tbh i'll pro bably buy one anyway since it'll be new and there will be some good games tbh tbh tho this gen has been kinda bad and i still need to catch up on a bunch of xbox n64 ps1 and ps2 games tbh

Did laugh at the announcement from Sony saying that the PS4 was going to be released soon and then mentioned the fact that they are also releasing two new slimline PS3's in red and blue finish.

Who would buy one of them knowing that a PS4 was due out and also Why would Sony mention both things in the same release?

My 3 year old pc will be more powerful than the new consoles I bet.

I hope they give them similar spec to a top of the range PC

Sorry greg not gonna happen, gonna be 4-8 core amd based CPU then something like 7850/8850 based GPU, someone mentioned a 7970M somewhere but this really is too expensive for either system as this time round neither Sony or M$ can afford to take a hit per console to start with.

Apparently the systems themselves will pretty much be at the level of a top of line PC as of this moment. So by the time they're released to the public they will be horrible outdated Its fine though. Consoles haves never been more powerful than a PC and that doesn't even matter. The day I have to spend 2k on a console is the day I quit gaming.

They won't be released this year, IMO.

They'll be unveiled at E3 2014 with a christmas 2014 release date. I don't think people want a new console just yet...

Rtm dont worry dude - this is gonna be a little cheaper this time round i expect 300-400 pounds for PS4/Xbox release with 400 being the big HDD fully featured version. Which for us Brits is quite a bit cheaper than the 600 quid the PS3 started at. Just add $50 and im sure that wont be far off the US prices, we always get screwed with the conversion some how even though the pound is often 1.7-2 against the dollar

My only worry at the moment is I will be going full time at uni. It's not the price I'm worried about. It's the time.

This is gonna be my last gaming console as Im getting old and you should never beleive the concepts/leaks!!
