Shut up, you numpty...McLeish is a shiite manager, who failed when he managed the biggest club he ever managed...He better stick to the smaller clubs...Maybe go back to the dump at Rangers, where are you again?

Adot - you are a clown son! Lambert mugged you off and isnt even sincere at the post match conference! Did Mcleish won a trophy with Birmingham? And how did Lambert do with you in said tournament? Oh thats right got beat over 2 legs by Bradford from which division?

The same manager that has 2 relegations I believe on his CV? Played the worst football in Villa's history last year. Wins a trophy with Birmingham then relegates them... You need to remember McLeish played all the experienced players last year... We had Stan before he got ill, Hutton, Warnock, Dunne, Collins, Heskey, Bent, Ireland... Lambert has a much tougher, younger squad compared to what McLeish had. And, even with what has happened, Lambert walks all over McLeish...If McLeish managed this squad we would've been down by now, we wouldn't have even beaten Tranmere at the start of our League Cup campaign!

OK, Ally, you're right, McLeish did win a trophy. But the final was against "we can throw away any match" Arsenal, and Blues didn't get a look in until the final minute when Arsenal's backs gave them the ball and said lets see if you can put it in the net.

I'm not anti-McLeish. I think deep down he lacks confidence, and if he could only worry less about losing he might, just might, start putting out teams which could win with flair. To go to Norwich at the end of last season and, when we were safe, put out a totally defensive team, desperate not to lose but did, was dire.

Super ally, mad for the rise, picks on the team that has an ex bhoy as manager who are in a rut, and tries to extract the pi$$, and ends up looking like the tool like all the sad barstewards that support a team that plays the likes of Elgin , queen of the Shiite, can't go on with ing, do one ya pr ick

Bent was injured in February of last season! Mssing the rest of the season! So your a Villa fan are you
Petrov was injured from end March again crucial times in the season. Agbonlahor probably had his best time in a while under Mcleish! Stephen Ireland was voted supporters player of the season under Mcleish how has he been under Lambert feckin son!!!!

Stephen Ireland lives in cuckoo fu(king land ya loop

Go bet on some donkey ally, suits you dipstick

You stupid numpty...Has Stan Petrov played this season? No. Darren Bent, has hardly played this season... And then you need to look at the defence we had last season, Dunne, Collins, Hutton... etc... all experinced.. It's not about how much they played, it's the fact that McLeish had more experienced players last season. Stupid Rangers fan, you're more deluded than that Charles Green, numpty.

Adot you hate McLeish simply because he came to you from Birmingham! Lambert KNEW Petrov wouldnt play this season why didnt he get a replacement! Lambert has CHOSEN not to play Bent on several occasions ya plum!
Can you comprehend the difference between unavailable and not chosen? Its not hard!!!!!

Last time you were hard, Thatcher was in power, pu$$y

posted on 25/1/13

You really are stupid aren't you? I said had McLeish played with the squad, or with the way Lambert has played this season, i.e. picking the younger players, buying younger players and not playing the likes of Bent then we wouldve' gone down by now under McLeish and we would not have made it to the semi-final of the League Cup either.

posted on 25/1/13

And where is this McLeish now? I hear he has ambitions of taking Nottingham Forest to the same level his beloved Rangers are at.

Igor - when Thatcher was in charge, the country was in a better state and Villa were winning European Cups!

Adot - No Im not stupid fella, no other clown of a manager couldve thought to buy his way to success with the calibre of player that Lambert has bought! You will see the value when they are sold on at a loss

As for not playing Bent! Why not play him, he is a player of genuine goalscoring ability and wouldve helped Benteke by sharing the load! Mcleish couldnt play him due to injury not choice!

As for Forest they have more chance of being in the EPL than you do next season! Derby Igor same applies to you! Last time you were a big team was,,,,,,,,,,,, actually have you ever been a big team?

As for my team? Well we were the victims of a witchhunt! And the turkeys are suffering as a result whilst we have had a succesful share issue and our average attendance at home games is something Derby coouldnt cope with

Lambert will keep Villa up.

The players just need confidence and some leadership in defence.

Vlaar was a good signing but has been missing a lot, apart from him the defence is very weak. Perhaps Richard Dunne could help out?

I think Villa will stay up and the young players will be better mentally for surviving relegation and then they can progress.

Perhaps Richard Dunne could help out? Why hasnt Lambert played him in a defence that has been consistently shipping "bog standard" goals?

I'm no a sad barsteward.

Perhaps he is trying to build a partnership that will be in place in the long term.

What have you got against Villa, you have been winding them up for ages or is just because Lambert was a great Celtic player?

" I'm not anti-McLeish. I think deep down he lacks confidence, and if he could only worry less about losing he might, just might, start putting out teams which could win with flair. "

This.

McCleish is one of many Scottish managers who get a result first play later.

It is instilled into many coaches who come through Largs.

Henke - I didnt agree with the treatment they gave Mcleish! All because he came from the Birmingham job! Lambert was treated like the messiah when he arrived having walked out on Norwich! Norwich made Lambert not the other way around! Remember the class manager he was at Livingston? Mcleish had a decimated squad to finish the season with but they wont accept it yet Lambert is given time!!!!!!

I say this to you Henke it has nothing to do with Lambert and his Celtic ties! I wouldve been the same regardless of who this team got in! Mcleish deserved more time!

Dunne has been injured, he has had 2 surgery's since the summer... I believe he's a few weeks away, but it will be diffcult for him to come back just like that.

posted on 26/1/13

I think Lambert is a pretty good manager, there is a definite gulf in class between him and Mcleish. What Villa are currently doing is a risk, but should they stay up as time passes they should only improve and get better.

Let's face it if they haven't got big money to spend it is the only way to do it.

Adot fair play wasnt aware of this thought it was just another case of Lambert not playing a senior player! Can you explain why he has been selected for the Eire squad for the game on 6th Feb? Seems crazy if he hasnt played nor is even close to being fit to play!

posted on 26/1/13

7 the arab look at the money spent pre season and you will see Villa in 3rd place! £23million hardly chicken feed!

Gulf in class
