Arsenal should play jock wilkshire up top... he is better then Macheda.

Dzeko is miles better than both Welbeck and Hernandez.

Dzeko is great. Extremely underrated.

Would you agree with this summary?

Yes. You sir, are the voice of the people.

Cisse? He's awful. Welbeck and Herandez are both better.

I expect Welbeck to get a battering as per. However, with a run of 20 games in any PL team he would score goals and be a better all round player than any of Cisse, Jelavic, Bent, Defoe, Benteke, Walcott etc. and is technically superior to Ba. Unfortunately, he has played as a No.9 on 3 occasions this season, which doesn't give us the luxury for fair comparison.

Hernandez, whilst technically inferior to a lot of the above, has proven his worth by putting the ball in the back of the net.

It all depends on the team, their set up, and what they want from a striker. For example, I could imagine a Fulham preferring Hernandez to compliment Berbatov behind him, whereas a poorer team without creativity in midfield would probably prefer a Welbeck to hold the ball up and create chances for others.

I agree here. Heard loads of people calling him average on this site. He's a very good striker.

I agree about Dzeko. I think City are the wrong team for him, though. He would be great for teams that cross the ball in a lot. United, strangely enough.

Dzeko is a great player but you're right about the rest

We can all see you are right but some people aren't smart like you and think Dzeko is great.

I do think Dzeko is great but is in the second tier of strikers

He's not just all about headering though. He has great technical ability on the ball for such a big man.

Don't get me started on Jark Welshire

Dzeko whilst not right up there is a very good striker.

I don't think Defoe is that good, just a good season and a good team.. Hernandez and Welbeck is same class imo

Defoe is English. Therefore, WORLD CLASS!!!

1) Van Persie
2) Sergio Aguero
3) Luis Suarez

I think past these three opinions are divided who follows! I would say Rooney but he is going through a bad form/injury patch.

Rooney, Suarez and Tevez are better than Aguero.

The right order is:

1. RVP
2. Rooney
3. Tevez/Suarez
4. Suarez/Tevez
5. Aguero
6. Dzeko

I wouldn't hugely disagree with Saint's list in all honesty....

Bar City and probably Chelsea, Welbeck would walk into any other team in this league. Fact.

posted on 26/1/13

I think Hernandez is a far better out and out striker than Welbeck, although Welbeck can be deployed on the wings.

RVP
Rooney
Aguero
Suarez
Tevez
Dzeko
Hernandezzzzzz

I'd say Berbatov is better than Hernandez.

Just putting that out there.

Berbatov is more talented than Hernandez. He is not more effective than him.

posted on 26/1/13

Berbatov is a quality striker in the right team, probably more natural talent but more difficult to fit into a team?

Fletcher is much better than Welbeck.

Hernandez is probably the best finisher in the league. But he's not up to much regarding the build up and playing football bit.

The ultimate supersub

you'd be mad to get rid of him.

And I couldn't see Welbeck starting for Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, City or Spurs. Possibly Everton too although Jellyvic is well off form at the moment.

He's still as much prospect as player. Excellent prospect

But 1 in 24 this season means he's not ready yet to lead an attack.

Agree with bloodred regarding his last two points.

It's like I said, though, it all comes down to who suits what team best.

There's no doubt Berbatov is a much better footballer than Hernandez and Welbeck, but as said above, for a team like United he just isn't as effective.

It's all subjective, it really is. For example, if at United, I don't think Suarez would flourish at all. I think he'd look better playing at City or Chelsea.
