I cant see what this so called special talent is either. Take away all the rubbish he brings on and off the field, take away the penalties, what are you left with? Pretty much nothing.
Exactly, what does he do ???
He looks awful most of the time, maybe that's just his bad attitude and he isn't putting any effort in but I have never been impressed by him.
Forgive me if I offend anyone but I think he blew up into stardom because he was a black italian footballer, who scored a few wonder goals at a young age for a top club, coupled with his crap attitude, he became a newspapers wet dream overnight.
He has the potential to be a very good player. Just his head is messed up big time. In the last European championship he was very impressive.
Was he though or was it just in that one game ?
Think people massively overrate him and I don't understand why.
He thinks he is better than he is.
Never really rated him when you put him up against the likes of VP, Teves, Defoe or dare i say it ..... Walcott!
Pace, skill, strength and supreme confidence at the age of 20. Whats not to hype?
Attitude aside, he would be a very dangerous player. At 22 our newly beloved Van Persie was an upstart with a slight bad boy reputation.
If he manages to calm down, he would be a top 10 striker in a few years. Though he needs to calm down.
I do think if he wasn't a nut case he could be very good.
Lol they just compared Balotelli to Cantona on talksport
Why do anyone listen to Talksport?

Talksport is awful but at work I sometimes tune in if I'm doing something boring.
Talksport Right wing radio for white van drivers
Yeah I got fed up its off now.
To be fair, he got one in two last year in terms of goals per game. I know people have been saying about his record this season and saying 1 in 14 is pants, but half of them have been as sub so it is a bit of a false statement.
For me, he hasn't been as good since he had his eye operation. Talent and potential wise, I think he absolutely has it, but his head will always hold him back. In terms of whether I want him to be sold or not, my head says sell him, my heart says don't.
Depending on if he does go, I do think he will get more goals at Milan or Juventus than he does at City because of where they will play him and supply the ball and the amount of game time he will get.

Probably the same reason you buzz off twitter?
Melton - can't argue much you say
But I do struggle to see how he has this reputation
VCD,
A lot is down to the character with that, most of Balotelli is a media creation. I do find it slightly irritating when they big a player up, then a year down the line start slating them when they were the people that were responsible in the first place!
Based on his age I think his record is bloody decent. All bar this season.
To score 28 goals and play 86 times for a team like inter by 19 is decent.
And 30 in 75 Orr here bearing in mind he has the hardest completion at city for places has suffered injurys in his time here.
Pretty sure apart from this season he had a 1 in 2 record in England, not to be sniffed at.
It's better than Welbecks.
Well I did say maybe I was being harsh, however whenever I see him play he does nothing in most games
But I don't watch every City game obviously.
At many other clubs Balotelli would be the main striker and his goal ratio would improve greatly.
His problem at City apart from his suspect attitude is he could never get any fluidity into his game. It's no good for any player to start one game do ok then maybe not get picked for the next three and then get ten minutes.
On top of all that he has had numerous suspensions and injuries, the lad has had such a stop start couple of years.
Would people miss Balotelli? I keep reading stuff saying 'the PL would be boring without him'. It think the novelty factor is wearing off with Balotelli
The journalists will certainly miss him.
For me i wouldn't miss him, he's a nutcase for sure and quite amusing (for a while) but it's boring now.
If he does leave at some point he is going to have a replacement most probably this summer that might actually score more than 1 in 14 games.
So rival supporters that don't actually rate him may miss him.

Serious question about Balotelli
